That's her! When I first met her at the US Open I introduced myself and told her that I feel like I've watched her grow up, she gave me this creeped out look that I will never forget, but then I explained that it was from Adam's channel and we became friendly. Haha.
Amy Wang is one of my favorite women players. She has a very calm but deadly efficient style.

What a good match, thanks for sharing. Love the "analysts" in the comments pretending their negativity is relevant. Amy just won the singles final - Celebrate and be happy for her. Table Tennis in the USA is underdeveloped and you bring absolutely nothing to the table by pointing that out - Trying to look smart by belittling Amy only serves to worsen the problem, and it makes you look pathetic.
Amy plays like she can predict the future. Her racket just always happens to be where it needs to be it's kinda scary.

Amy can't beat Bruna Takahashi but she surely can dominate in the US territory.
I think Amy takes the next match against Bruna. She just doesn't have as much international experience.
@@LosAngelesTableTennis Not in the recent years. I think Amy has the same issue as does Hugo: you need better players to be your practice buddies, or at least at the same level. Amy doesn't have better players to practice with in the US (she has better male players but male style is quite different). Bruna is in Europe professional league so she is in a better environment. Likewise, Hugo wants to beat Chinese players but his practice partners are way below his level.

It's rough for US players, once they hit college, their training goes from part time to like 5 hours a week.

The entire problem is that table tennis is underfunded in America. Compare table tennis to basketball, for example. Basketball has more airtime on the main TV, there's more advertising surrounding it, there are teams to root for instead of individual players, etc. Table tennis needs to dramatically change it's marketing. The other huge problem I've realized after being a big fan for years is that the rallies are just too short a lot of the time. No one wants to watch people grabbing a ball and wiping the table for 20 seconds and then watch a point for 3 seconds
