@@cartzwheels my 900 was a great bike and had no issues at all. I did have a look at the 1200 but just too tall for me. You got it in the best colour too.
@@wraggy_moto yeah I love the colour scheme of it. It is a very tall bike, but rich from Birmingham east showed me a nice feature that lowers the bike a further 10mm whilst under 40mph. I’ll explain more in the first ride vid.
Tiger 900 rally, how tall are you, I’ve been looking but the service cost frightens me at 10,000 miles it’s unbelievable, for a service and value check , happy riding 😊
@@martinhughes9769 I have released a second vid on the bike and there is some useful info in it about the height of the bike. Yes the service cost are very high. I thought the Honda price was bad but the triumph cost is nearly double that. That’s if you go to a main dealer 😜
Just sold my A.Tsame as your one, only reason tubed rims, GUTTED, but my son wants to tour to Norway & Switzerland next year, so I shan’t tubeless, don’t know what will replace the A.T, nothing looks as good haha, enjoy your new adventure 👍

I hope you keep it longer than my friend did his. His lasted less than a year it never lived up to his expectations and had some quality issues. He lost about £8000 in depreciation but was so glad to see the back of it. It’s also a hug3 step backwards if you are hoping to continue you ventures off-road.
Dunner listen to any Tiger haters, i had mine for 10 years and it has been the best Machine i ever owned in over 30 years of riding, you can be unlucky with any manufacturers, i know you'll look after yours , stick to the service schedule and all should be good, just enjoy it Steve im a little bit jealous 🤨🤣🤣

It has brought me so many amazing adventures and memories. If I could have afforded to keep it and get a new bike I would have. Hardest decision ever to get rid of it.
@@rockbiterhd I agree to an extent. Rider aids do take away a lot from riding. I started out on a 2002 gsxr 600 which didn’t have anything on it. I learnt a lot from riding that bike, but that being said without have some rider aids now there would be a lot more accidents. Just my honest opinion.
@@cartzwheels nice looking bike I also like the Africa twin what model year was it was it ride by wire and if so is there an aftermarket cruise control. I had a 67 plate that’s all I could fault it on was lack of cruise.
@@davidmatthews3093 I never ment basic in that way. I meant it in because it’s the 1000cc it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. Only TC and ABS. Compared to the tiger which has everything you can think of on it. I loved my Africa twin and if I could have afforded to keep both I would without a doubt.
@@mid.bike.crisis who knows what the future holds. I really don’t like the 19 inch front wheel on them. I’d had the Africa twin for so long it was just a slip of the tongue.
@@martintin250 I think you get that with every bike manufacturer. I know a few people who have had major problems with Africa twins. I was lucky to have such a great machine. Hopefully the triumph won’t let me down.

@@deanwelsh5702 I had the 2019 Africa twin 1000. I believe it was a ride by wire. I tried a knock off version of the atlas lock but it was useless.

Personally I’d have kept the Honda, superior in every way. Heard a fair few horror stories about the triumph. All the best. 👍
