Amazing.
Superb sounds there from the Montage family, however I hardly understood a single word of your Japanese tongues and wish that you had English subtitles like you usually have which would have made it much more enjoyable to watch :-) that said I enjoyed it so much anyway that I watched it twice, lol :-DGlen :-)

Chairman: Today we're going to have two musicians battle it out for the top-of-the-line YAMAHA synthesizer, the Montage.
Battle1 "The most representative sound of Montage"
U(Ujiie): "The sound that impressed me the first time I touched it."
G(Gakushi): "I play with only one finger."
Battle2 "Tones that show the advantages of hybrid instruments (FMX+AWM2)"
Battle3 "Tones for today's latest music"
U: "This is it! It's arranged against the bass-drum rhythm. It's a "sidechain". You can't do this with anything but the Montage."
U: "We can perform at a music festival right away with this. This is very innovative. With this, you don't need a band."
Battle4 "Tones that show the performance of analog circuits."
U: "It's getting more geeky. The dynamics are reproduced without distortion.
U: "This is amazing! The overtones of the sawtooth wave waveform are all represented, which normally wouldn't sound this clear.
Chairman: For those of you who have never heard the Montage before, let's check out the tone. Start with a basic acoustic piano.
Next, electric piano
U: "I don't know if you guys know this, but this is FM's TX-816, which has the sound source for 8 TXs.
G: "I use the Rose RD-Stage tone. I like this tone very much.
U: "Coincidentally, I actually created that tone.
G: "Really? I have a lot of respect for you!"
Strings
U:"Can you see that the number of people changed from a large group to a small group while I was playing? It's switched with the super knob at my feet. This is also couldn't do before.
G; "This tone is called Apollo, which I used in the Montage PV before.
U: "Excellent! I created that tone too."
Brass
G :"This is a slightly edited version of the Synth Brass 2 tone.
U: "I created that sound too."
G: and U: "Thank you very much.
Chairman: It's a strange exchange.
Guitar
U: "This is the sound of Gibson J-45. If you turn the knob, it becomes Martin's D-28. You can mix these together."
Effect of Super Knob
U: "These all work automatically. I didn't touch anything. They move in different ways depending on the programming. The knob is moving like a living organism. It move not only in the same direction, also randomly as well. Montage does something that no synthesizer has ever done before.

U: "This is it. It is reading the envelope of the bass drum from Gakushi and adjusting the level here.
G: "This is something it couldn't do manually."
U: "You can assign it to anything, not only Envelope but also Pitch can be synchronized. This opens up a lot of possibilities for sound creation.
Messages from the two
U: "This is a mass of freedom. Montage is the only digital synthesizer that allows you to create so much sound for yourself, it's not a workstation, it's a pure synthesizer. It can be used for anything. That's what makes it so great."
G: "It has the potential to do things that you couldn't do before. I actually use it live."
Chairman: Finally, please play together.
