I agree that in terms of the striking boxer are much more technical but thats because the whole sport revolves around the concept of punching, evading punches, measuring distance etc. so they have to develop those skills very well where as in mma there is a ground game, submissions, wrestling and striking in the clinch. mma fighters are intelligent but there is many aspects involved
