After brushing like that? Might want to flush the pins with more DeoxIT D5 to wash off what oxides had been loosened? Then blot off the excess and wait a few minutes before turning back on? Just adding one step more might be even better. Though the the way shown, the D5 that way will surely improve the sound. Love Hammonds!
I have a Hammond spinet organ model R-132 to be exact. It was playing fine until a couple of weeks ago. When I switch to the "leslie" speaker (built-in), that's when the static and weak sounds occur. It plays fine through the main speaker, but sounds sick through the leslie speaker. Do you know what could be the problem? Thank you, sir.
That little yellow sock looking thing is called a tube glove. They were made by Electro Harmonix but for some reason, they stopped making them. When I notice that my main supplier had run out of them, I was able to find a few more online some where and bought all they had. So I have them in different areas of my shop. Yes as Brother Genez stated, I use them because those tubes were too hot for my fingers to handle. When you see not using the tube glove it was because that tube was not as hot. Also, my right hand is more sensitive to heat than my left hand. Therefore, I can pick up some hot tubes with my left hand that I can not pick up with my right hand. I guess that comes from hitting too many guys when I was fighting martial arts in college or something. LOLOLOLOLOL Thanks for your question my brother. Blessings.

Hello. What is the spray you're using?
Thanks
It is called Dexoit 5. It is sold at some Radio Shacks and on the internet.
Hey doc why are you using the sock on some and not the others? And where did you get it
Probably because they get hot... ;)
