Use 1x4 for the frame and legs. Much lighter. Also, don't screw into the end grain!! That will be a weak joint. Use pocket holes. Use a 6 inch hole saw for the hole or a router and a jig.
I would love a detailed description a for layout and installing the legs…it’s making me very frustrated. I usually use 1 X 4s. Any chance? Do you actually read these comments. I’m also a female carpenter and learn lots from your videos. Thanks
