I don't get why some people would think it's selling out....selling out to what? Lol I'm happy for her :) Heck if I was 1/2 as creative and talented as Jayda I'd be doing the same thing!
What a sweet project! I love the Victorian era! Love the courting traditions and the simple acts of kindness they shared so prevalently then as well. I like to make things like this and just give them out randomly, sometimes with a little chocolate and a note that says a sweet little something. I work in a large hospital and many times people who work so very hard go unnoticed. I used your soap pouch and added some little chocolates and a note that said “you a appreciated more then you know” and left it on a woman’s cart (anonymously) who cleans the rooms in the ER, it was worth more then gold to see the smile it brought to her face! Thank you Jayda for sharing your talent as well as your kind and gentle spirit! Be Blessed!
Hello my Canadian friend/crochet teacher! It's snowing here in North Carolina. Loving this bag. I am a Victorian nut! I love all things Victorian! Another excellent video! Thanks. 😻
Thank you so much for this pattern. I desperately two small, gifts to send with my son to South Africa. It was short notice, but wanted something special. Made these up in a pewter and gold cord like yarn. Simply beautiful. Thank you again.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this idea Jayda!!! I too, like making the "gift-wrap" along with the actual gift. I've always liked to do that and had no idea that it was a thing back in the Victorian era. Thanks for the lesson. I am going to try and make a few of these for the gifts I'll be making, if I can still find the same yarn. Thanks for the tutorial, they are truly lovely and sweet.
this is a cute i made a large bag on my channel that could be used for a hot water bottle over xmas i like these ties i will do a double draw string next time thank you
I just LOVE the way you hold the yarn!! It's completely mesmerizing to watch you crochet! Beautiful little bag. I always enjoy your tutorials. Thank you
Such a cute bag. I have a niece who would love this! I especially love the little drawstring with the hearts! So cute! You've given me an idea for next Christmas using little bells instead of hearts for the ends! Can't wait to get started!
love your patterns I did your heart in a granny square last year and made 63 squares into a blanket and it is my most favorite blanket I have ever made thank you for the patterns
What a darling little bag! 😍 Would be great to make for the Women's Ministry Valentine luncheon at my church. Thanks Jayda! You always have such great inspirational ideas and patterns! 💕
This is just darling! I will certainly be making this. Honestly, you make the best tutorials, thank you for another marvelous idea! BTW, I sent 100 of those little Christmas stockings to the Christmas party thrown for our local Special Olympics teams, all stuffed with candy, and all inside a big festive basket. They absolutely loved them! I just can't thank you enough for the easy idea. It was so joyful to see their happiness 👍
Jayda, this beautiful and what a wonderful piece of history to go with!!! Love it!!! T4S!! I'm right on it, what to make a bunch!!!! So cute and adorable!!! Slimkim from MI 👍👍👍
This is so cute!! Thank you for all your hard work making these patterns and videos for us! I learned how to crochet watching your videos, so thank you!! I went right out and bought this yarn so I can start this project today 😍😁🧶
Hi Jayda, I just finished my little pouch and it is sooooo cute. I'm getting ready to make another one. My problem is deciding who to give them too. I really like the idea of giving it to someone anonymously. But then again perhaps a family member. All I know is that I really enjoyed making it. And as I was admiring my work...my husband walked into the room and exclaimed, "Oh that is cute." I loved hearing that. It was confirmation that the recipient will love it too! Thanks so much Jayda! I've learned so much watching your video's.
Such a sweet little pouch! Had marked this video and finally came back to it to make a pouch with leftover DK yarn. Used a larger hook (G) so used fewer chains for the tie and a one-row heart pattern ( to keep it tiny). The pouch is just adorable. Love it! Will try another one using a smaller hook. And I might just try one with crochet thread and an itsy bitty steel crochet hook.(haven’t used one of those in many years). Thank you for this darling - and versatile - pattern. And your always crystal clear instructions. ❤️
Oh gosh jayda I loooove this Victorian gift bag...I'm definitely going to make some for my homemakers and nurses that come to my home....thank you for sharing about that era as well...your sooo very sweet...bless you...fran 💜🐱

I have made dozens of these little gift bags from crochet thread. It has been a great way to break through my thread stash, and each bag is unique using two strands together. Thanks again for such a great tutorial!! 💕
Hi Brenda, it takes a little getting used too, but not much because it's not as thin as crochet thread. I love the look you can get with the fine weight yarn!
Thank you so much. I love learning from you. I made my bag with some baby sport weight yarn so it's bigger than your example. But I am sure I will put it to use. The next baby shower perhaps... Again, thank you.
I LOVE variegated yarn. Bought a mill end bag just because it was pretty and it had this weight yarn in it. Have been trying to figure out what to do with it since. NOW I KNOW. These little bags are AWESOME. 😀❤❤❤❤

I know some people think its selling out, but I'm so glad she has sponsers now. If anyone deserves extra stuff or money its jayda.
I love that she has a sponsor now; it’s exciting to me that she is making projects with yarn I don’t usually use. 💕
I don't get why some people would think it's selling out....selling out to what? Lol I'm happy for her :) Heck if I was 1/2 as creative and talented as Jayda I'd be doing the same thing!
