They are great quads. Sure they are nothing compared to modern day quads since technology has gotten so much better, but with some mods they can rip. Also I think the main reason some people love or hate them is bc of your riding style. The Warrior makes most of its power in the lower RPMs and is a torquey machine. It's good for trails and tighter areas. If you're a wide open high RPM rider, then that's putting the warrior out of what it's meant to be. But throw a big 3 setup, a stage 2 hotcam, and a higher compression piston and that thing will rip with some modern day quads
@@yeetygonzalez5843 yes ive got the wolverine and it was kinda gutless but with a warrior carb its much more snappy. and like you said it has alot of power down low and a bit into mid range. but not alot of top end. but still gets moving now

This is what it was all about back in my day. There’s been a huge issue with people that would rather ride on by running their mouth than being a good human and lending a hand to someone who is not experienced enough to know exactly what to do. Warrior 350 6speed with reverse. Ohhhhh yeah. They made them from 88-whenever they turned into the raptor 350. Good wheeler and it’s easy to find parts due to them making them for a long time
Here to say I grew up riding one and learned how to ride it so well I could throw it up hills it shouldn't go up (ruts, roots, lengthy steep grades almost straight up with loose dirt, etc.) The Yamaha 350 Warrior is and will forever be one of the best quads ever made. It's the precursor to every other 4-wheeler with more power available today, it was the first true racing quad back in its day. They will run until you starve them of their gas, oil, oxygen, or until they physically can't operate anymore i.e. you broke it because you did something you shouldn't have or never bothered to maintain it. Solid beginner bike and trail putter for everyone. All the power you need out of a trail quad with none of the BS. Remove the parking brake/e-brake and you won't have to worry about a thing besides replacing pads and keeping her lubed until bushings and bearings need replaced from a lot of use in some nasty environments.
this is a perfect example of what i say all the time. so many people are better riders than they think they just don’t have the confidence, sometimes all you need is a little bit of limiter to get unstuck

Unless you're going up some steep gnarly hills with plenty of bumps and differing grades of steepness, soil, and even ruts, a 350 Warrior is plenty to get you through most valleys and around most trails. I've made it up hills I shouldn't have on my ol' 350 just because I learned on it as a little kid and knew how to push it to its limits and then some. I got so comfortable throwing it around that I was outriding better and more experienced riders on their dirtbikes, quads, and SxS's in some of the most torn up public riding ground around, Wellsville Ohio all around The Forbidden Zone and the Free Zone. Guys from MOAB out in Utah on built bikes came out for a challenge and were talking a bunch of crap on the place, time passed and they couldn't keep up with my father and our buddies even going down the first hill into the main valley, they turned tail and went home because they were scared of it and made up a bunch of excuses why their bikes weren't working or couldn't handle the very environment they're made to live in. 350 Warrior for life. Air cooled 4-stroke quad which was originally the first true racing quad back before my time until later advancements were made. Now it's the perfect trail buddy for beginners and veterans alike. Less to break, less to go wrong, and they'll keep kicking until they physically can't.
