Mr Spicer's description of the flail or waggle in many physics based melee games has long been a problem for me. It's why I still cite Until You Fall as one of my faves, because although we're still clashing weightless virtual weapons that game requires you to weild them with precision, and success feels good. This is somewhat similar in Batman's combat and I think that's why it works. It's a very good game feel.
Great game - "I'm Batman" has been uttered many, many times already after a fight section!
