How do I find the right part for it? Do I have to go through the manufacturer or is it on Amazon or ebay? If u could answer my question I'd totally like the vid and sub because I need to fix it asap
question, after replacing the port the charging icon comes on the screen for a second then disappears. Any idea whats causing this? prior to replacing the port no charging indications were present for any moment.
Hello, I followed your video to change out my son's charging port. I tried plugging it in to charge and it quickly flashes showing the lightning bolt symbol then screen goes back to black. The charging port was the only issue with the phone. I ordered the replacement part off ebay. Could it be a faulty part?
@Funwithtechall I've tried to leave it plugged in for several hours but it's still dead. I'll try to wiggle it. I'm waiting on another replacement. Hopefully it will work, if not then I'll know it's more than just the port. Thank you for the informative video and replying to me.

When you press power button does it come back?
No it does not
Quick tip: if you gently pry just a little inside of the top of the aux cord port, the speaker will poop right out.

Possibly yes, did you try to wiggle it. Leave it on charging for couple of hours and then remove cable then turn it on b
