Feels like they are overthinking the idea of a card show. Maybe I'm in the minority, but give me a much simpler card show where vendors don't need to pay a huge premium to set up. I just walk around at shows, but I like the different levels of dealers at certain regional shows.
The good news is there will still be plenty of shows just like that for sure. But I doubt they ever lean into this show and try to make it just a bunch of tables. I’m guessing their shows will continue to grow and card shows as we know them know will still exist and the good ones still thrive
Agreed. If some other company put this on…GREAT! But its Fanatics, the company who makes the cards we collect. No one is going to tell me that the money internally spent on this show isnt affecting the price of the wax they’re also selling on the market….every single sports star/celeb going isn’t going for fun🤣 they’re getting a paycheck! That falls on us. 99.9% of collectors who arent even attending this cash grab show. Its ridiculous
