Fast summary: basically he’s stepping away from the administrative role of the qsmp and left it in good hands, he’s not leaving forever for he’s gonna play later on, but right now he’s taking a break. He also talked about getting doxxed and getting death threats, serious ones since he said they would take pictures of them close to his location and then send it to him on his email. He said he’s scared and in general sad about this whole situation.
Also: he said all the lore is PLANNED. A lot for people that don’t know him as much are annoyed because they think he “forced his way” in others peoples lore but he made it clear the lore is always worked on together before executing it.
He said a lot of people thought he was shady because of his secretive nature but he explains that he’s always been this way, he’s a reserved person. Any and every problem he’s resolved close doors without making it a public. I guess people think he’s not trustworthy because they never see him apologize.
He also talked about the upcoming legal proceedings (yes an actual real legal case). Also before all of you jump on me, the QSMP is a great project but the way the admin team was treated behind the scenes is horrible. Low paid wages (which is illegal in France), literal exploitation in hiring a minor and then admins not getting paid. And because of this the French Union is planning on filing a lawsuit against him and Quackity Studios.

One thing I will say and forever stand by is, doxxing anyone, creators, celebrities, etc will never be justifiable, should never attempted to be justified, and is never an appropriate response to any sort of “drama”, stay safe, and don’t purposefully hurt someone or allow someone to get hurt
Yeah. No matter how awful someone may be, they should never be doxxed. Someone's private life is very different from their screen life. Even if a UA-camr turns out to be a s3rial k1ll3er or something, that's up to the police. Nobody deserves this.

Shit, Quackity! Holy. Okay, I'm speechless for the first time in my 40 years. I just - I can't imagine what you're going through man. I know you're more of a "Behind the Scenes" kinda guy. Honestly, I fully respect you for that since many things should be handled behind the scenes, especially with dealing with many other Creators.

Alex, I think what you need to do is take a break. If you need to make an announcement on that toxic app (Twitter), or a short video, letting people know that you are not going to streaming/uploading for a while. And just take a break. Both your Physical and Mental Health matter and right now, you need to focus on YOURSELF! On your Mental Health (I recommend a therapist if you're comfortable with that), and any and all legal things that you need to take care of. The answer is b/c if you're a Content Creator the reality of your personal life and the Character you play is literally warped. Many people can't tell the difference and get so infatuated to the point that they literally have it in there that the person they see on screen and they are in a "Relationship" to the point where if the Creator has a Partner. Then the other person will literally cyber-stalk the Partner to try and "Break Them Up."
With Role Playing Creators. People literally forget that is just a story! There were a lot of stories in the DSMP, but I will admit it that I didn't really pay that much attention to it. But now, I wish that I had! B/C it seems like it's happening again, only on a much larger scale!
As for the doxing? So, many people have in their heads that, "Why is this person famous?! All they do is play video games all day! Anybody can do it!" And when they try to make the videos and don't succeed they literally will blame it on others. And I've seen with my own eyes a lot of people go, "Well nice to see the Such-N-Such finally got what's coming to them! Guess, all the fame didn't help huh! Now, they're on our level!" It's so stupid! But unfortunately, here in the US, the Law is quite (what's the word I'm looking for?) Finiky? A lot of Gray with a lot of things.

I've been reading what's been going on, and it's actually disturbing how inhumane Quackity has been treated. I understand that he needed to be aware of the unfair conditions of his own server, but then speaking out about it was fine, needed even, but it should be done with human consideration and care. This notion the people on twitter fail to understand, and it's very dangerous, and also a very unproductive thing. No one should be endangered in this situation, and some people fail to be careful, which is so so so disgusting. People should treat people like human beings. QSMPtwt is very very toxic.
Some people definitely have micro aggressions and are using the fact that he's mexican to say that we should of expected him to "underpay" people. As if he's some smart super villain mafia boss lol. He's one of the youngest on the server and this is his first project that he had no way of knowing how big it would become (eggs were not planned to exist longer than a couple weeks) etc. There are so many communities with so many language barriers and time zones we cannot expect him to control literally the entire world immediately.

Quackity, I am so sorry that the selfishness of others have forced you to step away from the QSMP. This is not okay. I stand i support of you doing WHATEVER is necessary to maintain your safety.
Out of all the voices in the crowd I just want to be one of support for you. The way you've been handling everything is very mature. I can only imagine how stressful trying to figure out how to run all of this from scratch has been, especially as a public facing person who must come under scrutiny often. And I can't even imagine the terror of being doxed. This is a heavy video. I can hear the fear in your voice. I'm really sorry to hear about everything that's happened to you and I pray you remain safe and that you get through this okay emotionally as well. It's really easy for people online to forget that creators are human. QSMP has been a lot of fun so far and I wish you all the best with the project moving forward.
I found out about qsmp during June of last year and I’ve been obsessed with it since. Qsmp has opened my eyes to a whole new level of creativity and content. I’ve found creators and games that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Even small things like finding art motivation and music from animatics. The way the qsmp has changed my life is extraordinary. I’ll always support quackity and his project however I can. ❤

I don't understand. Though he may have made mistakes, misjudgments and upholding his right to privacy, he is being treated like "other" content creators that have done disproportionately more heinous actions. I understand holding people accountable for there actions, but it is not fair if no matter the extent of an action if every CC will face the same hate.
What he has done sadly isn’t just mistakes but legally wrong aswell, even if he didn’t mean it to be. Doesn’t mean that he is a bad person or deserved any of the hate he’s been getting of course

One finally broke their silence to Quackity in private, he was about to blow the case wide open himself when Pomme's admin made everything public and actively encouraged public outrage.
That wasn't professional at all and she should have done what the other nameless employee did.
(To protect them from backlash Quackity kept their name hidden)
He wasn't speaking to the other admins right that very moment because he was probably going through lawyers and trying to do this the RIGHT way.
I won't blame the admins for speaking publicly, as it was likely a mixture of different cultures handling legal stuff differently, and some of them were rather young and aren't experienced enough to know how to handle such situations.
Quackity had wanted to give them an opportunity because he saw their talent and knows what a pain it is to try to make money when you're young.
He honestly thought everyone was being paid.
Remember how many times people would make the joke, "Quackity pay for the server!"
And he would always say he was. He actually was and servers that are heavily modded aren't cheap. Plus the staff he claimed he was paying.
He has NEVER managed anything like this before. Before this he just RPd on different servers and streamed games. Most businessy he got was merch stuff. Nothing else.
My heart breaks for him. He is a victim in all of this as well. And now he has to fear for his LIFE?!

first of all, your project is amazing .I'm a part of the french comunity and you HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW MUCH you helped me, when it was thought you made me laught,you made me discover many incredible creators ,you mentaly helped me and so many people, you improved my english a lot (even if it's very far from perfection), you made my spanish lessons worth it.
QSMP has made me laught and cry and I feel really sad of how poorly people had treated you as a content creator and human being . Nobody deserves that. Now we understand that your mental health matters and that if you have to take time for yourself we would understand.
I also wanted to say that I'm proud of how well you handled the situation and that you don't have in any case to apology for being a private person ,you have straightened out the project and that's all that matters, you don't have to explain people every single detail of your life.

I've been a fan of Quackity since his reddit days, and his content helped me IMMENSELY in 2020 when i just started highschool and was going though really bad depression. Its so upsetting to see how the internet has been treating him lately. Quackity has always been a very driven and responsible creator, so this is honestly just ridiculous, not to mention the doxxing,its disgusting.
Damn I cried so hard at this..I feel so bad for you quackity, you don't deserve this. Don't be sorry about keeping your life private, that's the appropriate thing to do. It's okay that your stepping down from administration if you think it's too much for you. Take a break if you need, we all love you so much

I'd admired him for all of the work and dedication he puts in for the QSMP. He's such a sweet genuine and kind hearted person. He doesn't deserve any of this... he deserves so much better. He's doing everything he can to bring communities together and breaking language barriers. I really hope that he's safe and taking care of his well being

It's not that people dislike him streaming in Spanish. The issue is that he was giving updates on how he would address the mistreatment of his workers and volunteers (a lot of whom do not speak Spanish, but other languages like Portugese and French) in languages that the people who were victimized by the situation couldn't understand.
Which was especially an issue as most of these people already had been pointing out how much Spanish and English were prioritized over other languages on the QSMP, despite most active players being Portugese or English, with French coming in at second place, and almost no Spanish cc's being active.
So both the volunteers and the cc's who were MOST affected by the changes in the QSMP couldn't understand a word of Quackity's updates, nor could their fanbases who also wanted to know what was going on.
Since this is a legal matter and Quackity is currently being sued by the French volunteers for exploitation (which they have legal basis to do), the fact that Q refuses to reach out to them or even update anyone in a language they understand say wrong with a lot of people.

Eu estou usando o Tumblr no momento para me atualizar sobre o assunto, mas recentemente entrei o Twitter e pqp. O Twitter no geral já é muito tóxico mas parece que com esse assunto as pessoas não tiveram nenhum senso. Aqui no YT também tem tanta gente querendo que as coisas se resolvam de forma pacifica e que o QSMP volte para que todos fiquem bem, no Twitter parece que só querem que tudo acabe.

Es terrible esa red social. Puedes ver qué ni siquiera buscan una solución, solo tiran odio desmesurado con la intención de dañar y destruir, no solo un proyecto, sino, una persona real. La mayoría del fandom de Q estamos siendo atacados con odio y xenofobia. Pero esos usuarios siguen tergiversando las cosas y debido a las acciones de cierta persona, las cosas simplemente fueron de mal a peor.

I understand where he's coming from, and I feel so much sympathy for him. You can see how uncomfortable and anxious he looks. And there's nothing wrong with not wanting to put all your business out there. I mean, look at the shit show Twitter/X turns into when that happens.
But on a more positive note, (not downplaying Big Q's struggles, but trying to make him feel better maybe?) I recently had the choice to take a new language class and when qsmp started around a year ago, I chose spanish because of QSMP, and I am proud of how far QSMP has gotten.

Lamento mucho que algo como esto esté pasando, muchas veces las personas llegan a extremos como estos por cosas que realmente no suman importancia para hacerlo y eso jamás estará bien ni será justificable, pero lo que realmente no cabe en mi cabeza es el hecho de que no te puedes poner a pensar cuan poco corazón tiene que tener alguien para llegar a hacer algo así, cada persona es libre de mantener su información personal privada hasta el punto en que lo quiera y es muy triste y frustrante saber que como Quackity muchas personas se ven obligadas a incluso salir con cuidado y alertados de sus casas porque ese mismo lugar donde descansan y conviven con familiares y amigos se vuelve el mismo lugar donde más se sienten inseguros. No me queda más que desear que todo se solucione y mejore pronto Quackity, desde el primer día en que el QSMP se anunció siempre nos transmitiste toda tu emociono, felicidad y más que nada tu amor por llevar a cabo este proyecto tan grandioso, lamento mucho que te hayas visto obligado a dar un paso atrás en el proyecto que con tanto amor creaste debido a las circunstancias.

I’m so sorry to hear that you went through all the hardships and situations. Threatening is shit and treating you terribly. Even doxxed is hell, absolutely worst type of all in social media. It must be hard on you, but as a fan of yours, please take care of your health and mentally. Just take a break from social media and the world for now as well as your job. Relax, for now, at least take a break. I’m fully aware and understand that you have to take a step back down from the administration. After you had to go through all of the difficulties and hardships situation. However, I still admire your work and ability to bring a community from different countries and languages to be united and enjoy the game that you made for the server. It was a wonderful Quackity. Amazing! You were so brave to be able to hold it. But it’s time for you to take a break and regain to find what’s your true purpose and happiness. From my perspective, you were quite a bit lost and confused, scared of all of these emotions coming from you. I hope you can read this. If you do take a break, we gladly wait for you whenever you are ready to return. No matter what, how long. Take as much as you need. I want to say, you were doing your trying your best and working hard and Thank you for everything. Take everything off your feelings and don’t give up, just vent all your feelings and thoughts out of your mind.

This is comforting and even though I've known him for a while, I mean, his name and his outgoing personality, idk HIM much, and getting to hear this after a long time being away cuz of stress about the matter, is really really good. I understand that he's a person too, he's still young, it's his first project and yes, he made mistakes and mistakes were made behind his back that he could've checked better. It happened, people left, people stayed, people go mad, people got sad all that, but now it's also getting settled and handled by him even if no in the adm role anymore and for the adms he trusted and that we're kinda trusting too. He's confident about that as he said and I hope this team won't disappoint or let him down too. It was a long ramble but yah, anyways lol thanks for the person who runs this channel t bring this to us! It's really good and we appreciate you as well 🫶✨️
