@@abudabi1995 yeah if it's unintentional and after a shot (that already is so rare). If you get a chance to re-watch the game again, notice how much Russell hits other players without the refs swooping in to help - plenty of times. It is playoffs basketball - Lakers players are just mad they didn't get all their challenges right.
How does the line get drawn? Act like it’s coincidental, hit someone you don’t like in the face after the shot. True defense either blocks it, steals it before going up and if those fails can only go straight up. What happened to that rule when the defender can go straight up, swing and hit a face….thats a foul
This was the foul that Lebron was making as an Excuse for their loss. Its 79-69 in favor of the Lakers thats still a 10 point lead they could have won easily if they defended well til the end
I agree definitely, I just don’t like the call being reviewed to coincidental because a good actor is gona find a way to hit his opponent in the face and act coincidental
And so goes Da Lakerz Nation; everything must go their way because Leb-run sez so. When it doesn't, it's a crime against Humanity. It played no part in the overall outcome of the game, it proved that sometimes referees make questionable calls, and it doesn't change the fact that the Nuggets beat Da Lakerz in 5.
In the regular season this would have stopped the game for ten minutes to review for a flagrant. Somehow it’s not a foul in the playoffs. NBA refereeing is an inconsistent joke that really undermines the credibility of basketball.
Its not why they lost but if you hit someone above the shoulders its an automatic flagrant foul. The only debate is if its a 1 or 2. And in that case its just a 1. Thats the rule in the book that they have been calling until that play.
Scott Foster is unbelievable.
Excuses - the unitentional hit was after the ball was no longer in Dlos hands and marginal. They just got beat.
@@NothingbutFactsthey did get beat. But why u copying what the ref said “marginal” LOL ur weird af
So ppl can just get hit in the face then?
@@abudabi1995still blew a 20 point lead 😂 take that Loss
@@VivaLaVan97 yup I know I watched the game lol

I didn’t know you can hack a person in the face after a shot cause it didn’t effect the shot. If so I guess that’s the rules. 🤷🏾♂️
If it's viewed as coincidental contact .

Stupiiiid refs
He hit him after the shot it didn't affect the shot
Of course, and I'll hit you in the face, why not, and nothing happens, you're telling me, right?
you're allowed to hit guys in the face after they shoot? wasn't aware of that rule.
Let's be honest. If that was Trey Young he would've got that call. I'll put it like that.
No it’s still a foul, it’s the same when a player shoots a 3 and land on the defenders foot.. it’s still a foul even tho it was after the release.
That's my thought .
