Thoughts on MSCS course in Ohio State University vs Northeastern University (Arlington). Which should be a better option for an International students?
hey as someone who went to ou ( athens main campus) for a summer program this year, i’d like to say it is overall a great place to be in. the campus is huge, there’s a lot of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for undergraduate international students, program instructors are very professional and helping, food is excellent (coming from a vegetarian), students are also very welcoming and helpful, and the housing is also pretty comfortable. as for athens uptown it’s definitely not a huge place but it is very comfortable as all you need is available there, there’s cvs like 5 min from the campus main gate and family dollar 10 min away, there’s a lot of eating joints and a retro style movie theatre nearby too. also keep in mind that columbus( capital city of ohio) is also only an hour and half away by bus for $10. international students service is also quick. i’ll be apply this year for fall 2025 intake. hope this helps!
