Best amethyst card in this set is The Queen’s Castle - Mirror Chamber. It fills the role of The Sorcerer’s Spellbook and does more. It’s inkable, draws you cards, hard to remove with 7 willpower, and gains 2 lore passively every turn just being there.

Ruby Amethyst is definitely here to stay. With the addition of Jim Hawkins + Queens Castle, you threaten 4 lore with an extra draw by just investing 5 ink - Value Town.
As much as i hate how its been at the top, now its got new tools to keep it there. Perhaps ruby/Amethyst aggro will be that much better without having to push the game till turn 9 maleficient with the addition of locations.
