The parents need to do a better job prepping their kids for training. They get so caught up in being in proximity with DD4L they forget this is serious business. The Dolls and Coaches were so patient and great. Thanks for sharing this!

The way coach D was invested in the Lil girl story on the bleachers was so funny to me. Lol. Then was nice and told them to be respectful. My favorite part. Mind u I'm only 17min in so far lol
I think it's safe to say that... Some of these girls probably don't want to dance and their parents are making them or trying to force dance on them... You have to be mindful of opportunist people and clout chasers as well ... DD4L is a big deal and very well known all over the world... Hello My Dance Community, Ms. Kim from GA here, WHEW I started my dance journey when I was 40yrs old (now 63). I had to rent a VHS tape to from the library to learn the basic steps of ballet because God said, “do the basic” and then I went to a ballet class with 5/6 yrs. olds. Of course, the 1st thing the teacher said to me “you know you will NOT be in the showcase” …LOL I laughed and said No Problem because I do not want to be their showcase, either. I had fallen in LOVE with a dance ministry and was doing what I was told “basic” so that’s what I did! Even when I started dancing with the team, they were ALL shocked because I did a lot of moves within 2/3 months which they had trained ALL their lives. See what God will do if you have an open heart and willing Spirit! Now I have been following Ms. D and DD4L from the beginning on Lifetime! I am so Proud of what Ms. D has done for OUR Dance Culture and ALL THE GOAT’s, that have moved on to bigger and better things in their lives! The morals/principles and seeds Ms. D is planting and has planted in ALL these Babies; I have tears in my eyes and the smile just like the “Cheshire Cat” every time I watch a show. The directions they are given are easy and clear. People dont read or follow directions... A clear bag wont change anything... 10 years and counting and no matter the adjustments we make things are still the same.... We good but ty for trying to help :)

No discipline whatsoever, Parents DD4L wasn't given anything those young ladies were dedicated and determined to succeed which they did. Parents Don't waste your money on your dream for your children when they don't want it. Allowing them to quit is wasting your money. The Dolls have nothing but Patience with these girls. As a Texas Educational department these kisds are bad in disd Dallas,TX! It makes my day hard with the constant potty mouths Monday- Friday! And it's worse in the high schools baby there's no respect! I do my counseling and leave! And speaking to parents to tell them about there children can be a headache as well
That’s everywhere nowadays lol 😂 that’s why teachers are leaving their profession or teaching in areas that have more community support and funding. Because where there’s community involvement means the parents ain’t playing around with their kids either because they know how important having options and opportunities can be for their development. I’m Not sure if she allowed parents to be there (probably not) but I think it could help because if a parent don’t like how their child is being taught they can take their kids and leave. But I think she handled it well. Kids don’t want to dance, fighting, cussing, sleeping your parents about to be called and you’re about to go home period. Kids are a Reflection of the parenting and environment around them so it is frustrating and sad but it’s people like you coaches older Gen and so on that can help be an Influence so when they grow up they can look Back and see the error of their ways and know who truly cared for Them
