Using Surveillance for Asthma Research

We often associate the term "surveillance" with governments, spies and criminals. But did you know that surveillance is also a tool used to improve the health of populations? In this video, we give an introduction to public health surveillance and describe how it is being used to monitor asthma in the province of Ontario, Canada.
