How long does it take to fix a kill cord to your wrist? Three seconds? How long does it take to realise that all have been tossed out of the boat and it is now coming back at you with a vengeance? Three seconds?
I get the feeling that you'd make an excellent news reporter. The only way anyone would exit our dinghy while underway with our miniscule 2.5hp motor would be if they stood up and voluntarily leapt over the gunnel. Of course I suppose there's always the risk of being knocked over by a tsunami or attacked by a kraken - either of which would be equally likely to occur as our being spontaneously ejected by the unbridled power of a wayward 2.5hp outboard.
Nah, not me. It would seem to me that those who go through life expecting the unexpected would live a depressing existence. I expect the expected - the natural results of my actions. The unexpected stuff we sort out as needed. If you were to take note of how pleasantly and without incident things have gone for us throughout the last 7 years, to me it would seem simple for one to conclude that the decisions we make must be pretty good.
The audio design for this video was very fun, above and below water muffling was noticed with delighted glee. :) Captain Molly is well on her way to surpassing her "Swabby" designation. 👍
One of my favorite videos...but then again, they're all my fav. I remember you talking about keeping the videos simple but all your editing hard work lately is definitely A+ Ben
You know, I really thought about adding a slap there, I even started to, but then it seemed to break up the flow of the underwater segment too much. Fear not - there will still be plenty of slaps in future episodes, I'm sure.
So glad you got to experience Bell's Island. It was our favorite anchorage in the Bahamas. Many of our boat pics were taken there. Tambi should know that Johnny Depp's place was North of the property you mentioned. Many people who anchor in Bell's water get to meet Capt. Jack.
It's a sweet spot, particularly nice in a Westerly blow. Tambi would freak out if she could meet Cap'n Jack. We've tried before... trespassed a little on his island for about 7 seconds, but the Cap'n was nowhere to be found at the time. Perhaps he was in search of rum.
I love your videos. You are getting so good at making them. Wish I could share some time there with your beautiful family. Thank you, can't wait till the next...
So you had to search to find our new video? That seems to be a common occurrence for people lately. We're doubtful that UA-cam is notifying people of our releases as they should be.
@@Sailboatstory UA-cam is getting a bit slack with notifications these days . Since I crave your family adventures , I always look for new videos . Love to you all ! 💞💖🥰
What compressor do you have? Tambi, put your snorkel on the left side so it and the regulator don’t get tangled and you don’t put the wrong mouthpiece in your mouth by mistake.
Totally unrelated to this video content, a thought just crossed my mind: Since your new boat is named "Sea Rat," maybe the dinghy should be named "Sea Mouse." 😂
The designed says the safe capacity is 500lbs. We've been pushing the limits lately with the combination of carrying more stuff like scuba gear and also the fact that Molly is getting heavier. We'll quite likely change to a different dinghy so that we can have more range and more load carrying capacity. This one is amazing, we're just outgrowing it and it's starting to become a safety concern at times.
@@Sailboatstory thanks! We had to sell our Walker Bay 8 because we are, unfortunately, too heavy. Looking for 600 lbs, and would love a nesting dinghy…thinking we’ll build one. 😎❤️

@@Sailboatstory To be honest I am not sure how we survived all those years of running outboards that didn't have kill switch tethers.

@ 7:42 - I see you've finally figured out how to not get slapped, Ben.. wait until Tambi's hands are full! 🤣
Also.. way to go, Skipper Molly!

Beautiful water! Great video. Skipper Molly did great!
She's a natural.
Maybe someday she can take over video editing duty?
Your editing skills are so profound! You all are hitting out of the park!
I have got to get myself a boat so I can go explore those beautiful Exuma waters!! ⛵️ Great job all around crew!
Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it.
Thanks for showing the Google earth view of where you are at. I often wonder where your have a good time at. Love your videos.

Really enjoyed the mapping and music. Cool video!
Killer content this week dudes.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vid guys, love the family vibe ya'll put out. Also loved the intro with the ass backwards fish, that was pretty cool. Take care.
Awesome stuff Sea Rats 😎😎😎

great vid... thanks !!!
coodoos family and what a job captain molly got them back safe
Can you rig a hoist using the boom for that heavy stuff ?
Certainly could, and probably would depending on what it is and how heavy.
That Mantis tank is neat. You said Tambi gets around 30 minutes with it, which is awesome! How long do you get with it?
I could probably get 20 if I actively try to be more conservative with the air, but probably more like 15 with normal breathing while swimming.
I wish you guys would’ve done that to all your spots. Where are you anchored with the Google maps
So pretty. Great video.
Another great video. Are you going to give us any idea what your future plans are?
I think I might have a sandwich later.

That dinghy will always be "Bonnie" after my Grandmother, but our next dinghy will be in need of a new name.
Sea Monkey?
I looked all over google earth where you said you were but didnt see you anywhere! I think it must be broken.. :P
Been watching yall since your last boat. Also watch salty escape. Havent seen any content from them latley. They ok?
They're good. Just handling some non-video related tasks at the moment, but I'm sure they'll get the videos going again soon.
How many pounds is your awesome dinghy rated for? Great video! 😎❤️❤️❤️

How do you paid for the park fees
Park boat comes by and you hand them the money.
I bought a tank like that at a yard sale for 5 dollars . Can you believe it ? 😮😅😊
That's $5 more than we paid for our's, but still not bad!
@@Sailboatstory what a deal ! 😍🥰
