I don't really like D'Vorah as a character, but the concept of her and the way she speaks is so intriguing and original. Kelly Hu did a fantastic job, her voice is unrecognizable, and I love the effect they put on her voice, it's like there are literally insects in her throat, it's genius. She'll probably be in an upcoming MK sequel (I'm kind of hoping Baraka and Mileena get their revenge though).

Yes! D'Vorah, my favorite! Her design and voice is incredible. I mainly play PvP matches, and her controls are great. Her body language is freaky though, jerking her head and having very "sharp" movements when she speaks. D'Vorah is definitely one of the creepiest characters in MKX.
This D'vorah was a far better chracterization than MK11. Her speech, in a manner of speaking, was pursed: measured, with no wrong word and no word wasted. It's like in a short time she had the deliberation and intelligence uncharacteristic of her kind to say all the right things. That I believe is how she has survived for so long in a world that despises her kind. Also pertaining to this and the fact that Kytinn are a highly adaptive species of insectoids is her MKX design, fittingly as humanoid as much as she can. She also possesses a great measure of wit and sarcasm greatly shown in MKX. She can be a complete savage in battle, yes, but only when it suited her.

They pulled off the "humanoid insect" aspect in her animations well, like her head movements being jerky and her limbs curling up when collapsing after a round. I find it peculiar how there's people who think she's attractive in any way. Maybe I'm somewhat biased, but still...she just looks...uncanny. A human-like shape should not have chitinous skin or openings like the one in her stomach.
Rabbi Jamal Dindubergsteinowitz I don't like how people hate her for killing mileena I actually really liked mileena 2 but I don't hate dvorah she had her reasons besides mileena did rightfully deserve the throne but it doesn't make her the best leader. She's my fave new character 2 who I find pretty creepy 80 percent but sometimes attractive if that makes any sense lol.

I really love the effect they put on her voice and her mannerisms in this game. I feel they changed her in mk11 cause it was hard to understand her but it made her sound so-so by comparison. Her otherworldly presence was taken and her mannerisms while a bit intact in MK11 do not compare to her in this game. MK11 has some subtle twitches where as this game it feels like a perfect blend of insect twitches with humanoid movements like when she approaches Mileena in story mode or her retorts and how she bobs her head in these intros. I also feel her opertunist nature to survive with the strongest was much better represented here where as in MK11 she was merely a lacky like how they treat Baraka and Reptile, her only defining moment in MK11 being the one to kill Hanzo
