Hey Brother
I recommend getting the Teqc Washi mat, I have it in my channel it sounds amazing and it’s really flat. Great channel by the way .
Amazing review
Cool video:)
Is VTA adjustable?
Is azimuth adjustable?
Great you’re enjoying this table so much!
Thank you! To answer, yes and yes

A dust cover is just a vibration antenna. A cloth one would be nice
I warn you that following instructions on the user manual, you will get an uncorrect overhang, causing distortion, and as I have seen from your video your cartridge has been installed in a position which follows manual instructions. Get yourself a Clearaudio protractor for the Emotion turntable to set the correct overhang, and you will enjoy great sounding reproduction. Best regards
The cartridge was installed by a dealer who used the Dr. Feikart protector
I think that such a turntable deserves a proper dust cover but to each their own.
Ironically I think if Marantz included one and charged an extra $200, I wouldn't bat an eye. But having to buy one separately invokes the same emotion I feel when something is like $100 + $2.99 shipping. Instant remove from cart 😂
you do not know perhaps that marantz did not make most of their high end TT's most were made by cec in japan to me marantz does not impress me cause they charged too much for their turntables when a lot of most popular brands had their tt's made by cec and a lot of records are not made the same somehow quality control has gone out the window never had that problems when we had records in the late 70's and 80's todays records qualty wise suck I bought new albums not to mention how expensive they are with the center hole is slightly small edges are sharp where I got a small cut from the edges and some of those 180 gram thick records are made like that to cut down on warpage thats not true I have several of them and the ones that were from the 70's which were at 120 grams and less are not warped at all its all to charge for more money and if you want to enlarge the hole on the record you do not need a fancy machine just use a round tapered file or a rolled up sandpaper not to harsh the finer the better and just run it through hole not too long all it takes is a few seconds at a time use white gloves to keep record finger print free or as you keep playing record it will wear in there is mo reason to go crazy I had some records where hole was too small but it finally wore in, there were high end tt's in my day that had covers the dual cs series which I consider better than marantz comes with a cover it cost close to 800.00 or more but its considered high end for audio fools !!! note I was one you can also get a custom made cover by digital deck covers and it will cost close to 25.00 to maybe 30.00 I have several of them they are heavy duty and well made and this TT goes around I think 1700.00 you can get a Dual for half the price it would sound just as good people should buy turntables for the style that they like and how they look its what you put ion it any tt can sound bassy or with more treble by the cart the amp you have and speakers will change sound how your room accoustics are everything affects how your turntable will sound, all my turntables are very quiet I hear no motor noise on most of them the only one TT i can hear the motor is on my pro-ject debut 3 it has precision bearings fancy spindle bearings I even replaced the metal platter to acrylic platter it did make my bass more defined but motor noise is not going into tone arm I can put up really high I cannot hear it but the TT's I have are mostly rim drive and belt and direct and mostly from the 70's except the pro-ject and audio technica just cause it cost 1700.00 does not mean its better it looks cool I like its look and nice lines it does look good with the led set up you did which is cool but for me 1700'00 for a MANUAL turntable is tooooo much like I said marantz never impressed me cause they charged a lot for most of their turntables and they did not make any of them cec made them and they made many others of the same type for other co. but they were cheaper JRo
