As a 2A player, I would say Shinji is not as good as Takuma or Hajime in terms of technique, though most can’t tell the difference. His tricks are easier and don’t require much sleep compared to their incredibly difficult and long combos.
Crazy to think this is probably the best 2A freestyle ever. I have one of his first japan nationals on VHS when he was insanely small to a song Polka dot bikini, i gotta upload it so everyone can see back in the early 2000’s how much more advance he was at a young age.

I wanna see someone in 2 a do a shoot the moon both ways back and forth.... like line staight up and down, and shoot the moon back and forth... one yo yo goes out left while the other goes out right..... or bakc and forth so it would look AWESOME. I know it can be done, IDK HOW and I certainly couldn't but i wanna see that trick......

This kind of mentality is why today's generations are such loser cry babies. If you can't be the best, then drag the best down or wish them ill so you "succeed". IF I was competing I'd want him to come so I can challenge him. He's known as a "god" in this field and it would be the ultimate victory to defeat him and it would still be an honor losing to someone knowing I did my best and I competed with the best.

Looking back, it's so crazy to see the level Shinji was at. This would still win worlds in 2023, which I find ridiculous.

A few points. I can't recall exactly. Shinji smoked shu in tech, but shu smoked Shinji in performance, but Shinji had the edge.
