Yoko Yakamori Boy! Do I know what you mean! I was watched that episode of "M*A*S*H*"! When Hawkeye, mentioned the Chanteuse's name. It occurred to me to search for her on youtube!
Great performance by Alice Faye and John Payne, but the quartet of The Roberts Brothers and trio of Brian Sisters add greatly to this clip from the 1940 Film... Thanks for posting!
@procrastinator99 I bought the box dvd set, all 11 seasons w/ deleted scenes added in & it makes all the episodes way funnier, especially 1st 3 seasons 🤣
Great song from the movie Tin Pan Alley. John Payne usually thought of as a dramatic actor actually began as a singer. There's another great song in this movie called Goodbye Broadway Hello France that is sung by Jack Oakie. Hope perhaps you can post that as well.
So patriotic and uplifting, just what they needed at that time. Alice Faye had a special voice.❤
I saw this part on M*A*S*H on Alcoholics Unanimous.
I have been searching for this under Alice Faye for a while. Love this song.

Loved Alice Faye and romance with John Payne, bad boy, everyone loves them.😊❤
Love this! Will play the chorus at my church before services on Memorial Day services!!!!!

Should be our national Anthem (with appropriate “up to date” revisions!)
I saw it in M*A*S*H.
SOUND! WHERE'S THE SOUND???!!
Trapper: "You ask for sound & you get water"
Hawkeye: "That's showbiz"
@@jamesfountain6183 lmao all these years later and M*A*S*H still makes me laugh. I wasn't even alive when it first aired....
