Oh, my goodness, did I ever crash tonight! For G, I thought Gutierrez might have done it, but no. And I couldn't believe that my country, Canada, sold Niagara Falls to the US for a poultry $150 thousand. Clue or no clue, a couple of your questions were a bit beyond my accumulated knowledge. But I enjoyed the quiz immensely, and continue to learn new things. I'll try to do better next time. 😊❤
Great work Mel, there is a fine line between preparing quizzes and questions... With out repeating answers, for example X is getting more and more tricky to do. I'm trying not to repeat questions or answers for as long as possible, I also need to work with my audience, which is split 30% US, 25% UK etc etc.... So some questions will be biased in certain directions.. Thank you once again.
@@AtoZTrivia -- Thank you for being so supportive of my efforts! Yes, I can imagine how difficult (maybe I ought to use the more euphemistic word "challenging") it must be to come up with words for the letter X. If Portuguese were accepted (I'm Portuguese, you see), I could suggest the words Xadrez (plaid), Xarope (syrup) or Xaile (shawl), but alas, such is not to be. Of course there's always xenophobia to lean on... I hope other players come up with smart anglo suggestions, not weird ideas like mine. But at least I have my thinking cap on, right? Please, keep producing these quizzes and I'll keep playing them, Mr. A to Z. You must have an actual name that you go by -- or a pseudonym you want to use. Best regards from Mel Stiller in British Columbia, Canada. 🇨🇦🦋
