Post production
It's in the basement!
yup... top o da line :)
The sound mixing person on this is a blessed person. Sounds amazingly beautiful. Medicine to my ears and brain.
Caio Gabriel Guimarães A fellow audio nerd I see. I 100% agree.
Whistling, yes the sound is KEXP quality, love love love Japanese Breakfast! Am I stretching a bit saying mAzzy Star present day
I feel like someone says this on everyone of their videos. It's almost like you're doing this on purpose.
Machinist is one of the most brilliant songs of 2017
J Brekkie is the best brekkie
I watch this at least once everyday. They rock, bisexual lightning, great sound.
bisexual lighting, even!!! amazing comment.
Im loving the guy on guitar in the back. He looks like he is enjoying himself while playing the music and he wont stop smiling. This dude is awesome!
that's her hubby
i thought her husband is the dude who played bass in her old backing band.
that should be the kinda feeling you have when you do what you like with the one you like
@Madein Dark Nope, that guy is now the drummer
oh i seee
Till death sounded absolutely amazing
I adore this band. Michelle has a incredible vocal range. All of their music is so amazing, eclectic and cool. I especially love the version of "The Machinist" live here. It is incredible. 😍 I haven't been able to stop listening to this band. I initially heard "Diving Woman" and was hooked-it sounds kickass here!!! I also love "Body is a Blade". They are so unique and powerful.
Hearing Diving Woman on KEXP while driving one day is what hooked me on this band. I love how prominent the bass is for that song in this video because it's such a cool bass groove that's barely audible on the album version.
Bruh, that base line... Muah *Kisses Fingers*
I'm a big fan of this group. They have a certain style and aesthetic that just soothes the soul.
A similar band to this is Radiation Flowers. Something to look into if you want more music this style
Thanks for the tip! Love their sound.
i can't find a single thing that's not good in this...just PERFECTION
Love this. This particular version of "Everybody Wants to Love You" is so, so, so good!! Drummer's got an excellent voice, and of course, Michelle Z. is fantastic, as always.
I don't have a basement but if I did, i'd invite them to play in it
This band is so talented - saw them live last year. Thank you Pitchfork for posting this excellent music!
Good good band live
This was such a great performance. They are my new favorite band.
Machinist feels like it was made to be performed with that lighting. I keep going back to that song because the whole thing's giving me total sensory bliss.
Ryan Thomas TRUE
He just left that sauce on the stove
It needs to reduce but he should really be stirring it every few minutes
He shut the stove off.
Juan is the boss of his sauce
This is incredible sound engineering job. As a huge fan who has seen them live, this is a masterpiece bringing out a groove that is pure joy.
Till Death, my good does that song bang.
Damn I never heard this band before and now I can't stop the video and now they´re my fave band O-O
Alessandra Calle I caught their show this last Saturday [5 days after this was filmed]. They're amazing live!!

Can't get enough of JB. Loved their concert in Durham NC!
12 Steps sounds fantastic!
it is the best song (IMO) of that record.
Love that track. Wish they played rugged country more often. Those are my two favs of them
Can't wait to see them tonight!!!
Wow, where I have been all this time, Till Death is something mesmerizing.
Wow. All of the instruments and the vocals sound really crisp.
EDIT: I just got to the end of the video where she mentions graphics being really crisp. RIP
jahildebrandt What is that referring too? Not being a dick, I genuinely want to know.
Beautiful Japanese Breakfast!!! Come to México please!!
their mellow jamming out is soothing.

My god, complements to the sound engineer. 👏 Every one wants to love you baby!

michelle looks gorgeous
Yeah. I gotta say, she is one of the best dressed artists out there. As well as being just naturally beautiful. And that's all just cherries on top of her songwriting.
I just heard the album version of "Diving Woman" in comparison. I like this live version more - sounds more shoegazy for me. Reminds me on "The War On Drugs".
yeasss
