Hey brother first off thanks for these audios I have started watching them on another internet source and sometimes they repeat the shows so I’m always looking for different shows or episodes and yours specifically is clear sounding some of these sources are low tone sounding and muffled sounding so thank you very much.! The second part of this is, is this worth doing as I was thinking about putting audio from another type of thing entirely I wouldn’t be your competitor at all, you don’t have to answer obviously. Just curious. I don’t have many friends these days most people take take take I’m a giver so I had to cut everyone out. God bless you brother. Be Well
Please retire the episode with 'little white lilac'. It is very offensive and has a terrible slur that is repeated over and over regarding Indigenous women. I love these shows and appreciate the difference in culture these days but this one really should go
I’m only 26 and when I was a kid we didn’t own tv cause we were low on means of money and moving a lot and on weekends on an am radio stations they used to do the old radio stories like this and I loved them. Still love these. Nothing like imagination to make these more lively then any movie or tv show you could ever watch.
He always seems to dig himself out of trouble, must be that "shovel" he uses!! Great series and always so well written. The 1940's was a great era for radio!
How's your sweet little girl it nice to bring on the show I have had insomnia since I was a child I'm 62 and love to fall asleep listening my wife says it's Beats everything I tried
I enjoyed this old-time radio compilation of shows about, Sam Spade. Love the variety of the capers that he has his secretary to write up, as he reminiscences about his clients. I always enjoy the host and the people in the chats, too. Have a fantastic night and day. Take care 📻🌹
Love the shows you put out. I wish you could add Life of Riley and Damon Runyon theatre. The incomparable John Brown was in both as Gillis and Digger Odell in Life of Riley and Broadway in Damon Runyon theatre
I like Howard Duff over Steve Dunne. I have listened to Steve Dunnellon, but Howard is better. I have an OTR application on my cellular phone. Some of my favorites include Sam Spade, Phillip Marlowe, Dragnet, Sherlock Holmes, Jack Benny and Burns and Allen. Duffy's Tavern and Gangbusters can being funny at times
@@HearthandHomeEntertainment I notice this a LOT with sci fi dramas. Every once and a while I recognize the short story they're all based on. It's great :D "Time Enough at Last" is a plot line I've heard a number of different times and ways. Usually official adaptations with the Twilight zone!
Let's face it, with these detective stories, there are only about 10 plots, it's all about how you hide the setup and whether you chose the obvious ending, or to swerve at the end.
Thanks Hearth and Home homeys for providing a variety of old school entertainment. I first heard of Johnny $$ from my aunt and uncle. When they said he had an "action-packed expense account" I was like, "say what...?" Since then, I've tapped into Philip Marlowe, Sam Spade and whomever else you've served up. I'd like to contribute to the cause. Is there a one-time special available rather than clicking a membership button? Please advise, thanks!

I'm hearing these shows for the second time. The first time was when I was 10. I remembered the license number for 70 years (so far).
Thank you 😊
Love it, thanks!
great to listen to in the wee small hours with my two hounds lying sleeping beside me, thank you
🐕 🐶
Thanks for the shows it lets get to use your imagination again to picture and create the sceneries in your mind, Great resurrecting these shows.
My favorite! The back & forth between Sam & Effy was absolutely the best!!!!! Kudos to the writers???
Enjoy listening to all the otr shows. TY! I was born too late, yet I'm still old.
He always seems to dig himself out of trouble, must be that "shovel" he uses!! Great series and always so well written. The 1940's was a great era for radio!
You are right!
Thank you it's like being a kid again with my grandparents they loved Duffy's tavern and the ball games
That is what we like to hear!
thanks

Ty for this

Thanks so much for this great channel. So glad I happened upon it. Just joined your Johnny Dollar Club.
We are so thankful and so have you as part of the family!
Heard a Johnny Dollar episode with the same storyline. Still love them all.
Yeah, I've heard a few scripts that seem to be repeated in different shows! Still fun to hear them!
Gosh! I thought that was Howard Duff. I remember him from Flamingo Road.
Love the shows you put out. I wish you could add Life of Riley and Damon Runyon theatre. The incomparable John Brown was in both as Gillis and Digger Odell in Life of Riley and Broadway in Damon Runyon theatre
thanks for the ideas!
I love your channel and you add so much Good and I love the visuals 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
thank you!
Great shows from a time when people could actually tell what direction the moral compass pointed
Not really... nostalgia is a foggy mirror. The moral compass is pretty much the same as it ever was
Good look
>~~~~}}}•> stuck in a Hospital listening in ::::.:.||> Sam and Eddy are cool ---> thank You very much••••••••
We hope you feel better quick. Thank you for being with us. We hope to hear good news soon!
I just have to say ...the old ads were classic, todays commercials are whats annoying and makes no sense....
I think this was later made into a Johnny Dollar. This script.

This is a favorite channel...you do such a good job in episode choices and visuals. TYVM. Isn't "cream oil" an oxymoron?
lol yes! Thank you so much!
The “tears of night“ necklace episode has a plot very similar to a Johnny Dollar episode. It would be interesting to know which story came first
I've noticed a few shows seemed to the reuse the same plots

Lot of "recycling" in these detective shows.
They reused them again when they went to TV! 😁

Could you please, please get rid of the "Wild Root Cream Oil" ads? OMG! They are the worst!
But...but, it comes in a handy economy sized bottle and is the smart choice for men, women, and children!😂
Wild Root Cream Oil, Charlie, is a part of American history.
@@evansmith7969 i still use wildroot cream oil on the little hair i have left!!
But WRCO is great for training junior's hair!
Perhaps you should try the .25c get aquatinted size …
Thanks! 😊
