Excellent video! Who is this amazing guest with such an interesting life? ;) Was so great to team up and chat about mental health, thanks for having me on Disordered Discussions!
Eden V well the good news is there will be more content with this amazing guest next Wednesday ;) Can't wait to continue our conversation sometime soon.
Eden's video "17 Unexpected and Unique Behaviours of OCPD" is one of the best I've found. I'm sure most of us with OCPD spend tonnes of time researching it and related issues. This is problematic because it is frustrating when we're not "perfectly" fitting the description as we read it. So, providing real-life manifestations of the symptoms is very helpful. That combined with Darryl's video on the sub-types, has been the most informative for me. She mentioned anankastic disorder; I find this to be a better description than the DSM-5's OCPD.
Awesome video. I have self diagnosed with ocpd back in Feb and have been on such a fascinating, enlightening and exhausting journey of learning and realisation since. I am learning so much so quickly, it helps so much to hear from both of your channels. I think it's amazing that you can create such great content in front of a camera and actually get to the point of sharing it. It would take me weeks to be comfortable enough with myself and my content.
Antony Cowpe thank you so much for the positive feedback. I wish I could say that it was easy to make this content, but the OCPD makes it a long and arduous process. It's still my hope someday that it will get easier. But I'm very happy when I hear that someone enjoyed a video. Thanks from Eden and me for watching!
So great you're doing videos with Eden about OCPD. Keep up the good work, Darryl. I wrote a comment on the channel of Eden about the videos of you both. So that comment is also ment for you, Darryl! Thank you very much both 👍🇳🇱
dont beat yourself up about the audio, it may not be perfect to you, but because we know what you are saying its fine. no subtitles required. you both speak really well.
@kristazsako receiving a proper diagnosis is a step in the right direction. It's never easy to hear, but at least you know what you're dealing with now.

2nd one still not coming up - just tried the new address...
Brian Marshall looks like it was some confusion on my part. I just spoke with Eden and her video is going up in a half hour. Thanks for checking in.
Sorry about that! There's a time difference that I keep forgetting about. The video should be up now :)
@@EdenV totally my bad. Just glad both videos are up now.
Hey D. Happy belated birthday. I had bubs send you a message because I lost your phone #. How do you toast toast?
Aaron Penney I don't even know anymore. Turns out I'm allergic to dairy and eggs. So bread is just a distant memory. Thanks as well :)
Half story, waste of time
Christine Baig that's why it says 'part 1' :)
