- Today we remember those impacted by the massive 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami that devastated the eastern coastal region of Japan on March 11, 2011. The response effort that followed the disaster, known as Operation Tomodachi, serves as a reminder of the unwavering friendship between the U.S. and Japan.

I remember seeing this on the news. I was in 10th grade, I had the same feeling I had on 9/11. Instead of a horrific tragedy perpetrated by other humans, this was a tragedy brought on by our own beloved Earth.

冷遇されてますから😅今年の予備自衛官召集訓練に参加するのにも、会社から有給休暇取って、自衛隊からも手当て貰うのか❗の冷遇されてますから😢

12 years have passed since then. Although there's a long way to go, People of the affected areas are doing best to rebuild their town,and it has so progressed.
