Union Pacific 4014: Ran out of Illinois 2024

Following the amazing show in the mountains of California, UP's big steam engine, 4-8-8-4 Wasatch #4014, nicknamed "Big Boy", to run from Cheyenne, WY to as far east as Chicago, IL. This event was called "The Heartland of America Tour." Here we catch up with the 4014 in Rochelle, Illinois and chase very hectically to just outside St Louis, MO. The average speed on this trip was 35 MPH. Don't blink, 4014 is rolling thunder!
