these were the songs that make you have a small smile, but still have tears welling up in your eyes and once in a while trickling down the tip of your nose. the kind of songs that make you miss something, but you don't know what you're missing, while simultaneously looking forward to new things. songs that get you to realize how nice life really is.

it's sort of like watching two people on a first date. the signs give each title a physical presence, and as each individual and their song get to know each other, i get the distinct pleasure of watching each listener subtly fall in love. really lovely.

I was about to fall asleep but suddenly my phone buzzed, I checked what it was and it was Tom adding these songs to soundcloud. I was falling asleep listening to these songs and I just burst into tears! These are a real treat... amazing. Well done, sir!

you know it's funny because the more i listen to these songs, the more they speak to me, the more i understand them and the more they reflet with what i'm livin. when I first listened to them i don't think i like them the way i do now. well, i liked them, but i didn't quite let them be a part of me. I didin't let them join who i was, what i was doing, i didn't invite them really. i think to power of this album is that each song takes a few listenings to really comprehend how big and deep they are. They become something totally different, by 2 or 3 or 546 times of listenings to them. It's like they're evolving, changing in the nature, like a tree or some cool flower.
Thank you for this amazing music Tom! To be honest I listen to a lot of very depressing music (because I love it, don't blame me i'm french), but you're like the only musician making happy music that i absolutely love listening to

I just started thinking about it all and was on the verge of tears when i got to 8:43 where it says Rachel needs a little pick me up and it just made me smile.
