@@thecreatorofpc7929 bro, i just had an insane realization. for years i've been pronouncing it this way jokingly, but i never knew where i got it from. I think this is it.. wow!!!
I have the scientific edition of the game which includes the DLC, plus new features like pets (exponents). I also like how the devs added a new function that compensates for the arrow and balloon glitch: the duel balloon arrow (%). Not only that but they also have these arrows that allow you to jump back in time to previous actions to try a change them.
@@slavicmalchikTried that. It wasn't really well implemented. Thankfully, the Desmos mod allowed for more actions per turn and made it a fair challenge. To do it in the original, I had to hide behind a broken variable to glitch out the fight and remove the boss's targeting. Still nearly lost, though.
Funny, how our school told us we need to buy this game for the next lessons. Interesting that they are actually reworking the educational system to include video games.
I managed to reach level 10 of the game and started off with the usual character and binoculars (1 and 8). But when I got the treasure, there was a huge snake (7), like 10 times the size of the normal one. To kill it, I decided to use a Molotov cocktail (4) to set it on fire and then used the axe (9) to finish it off. As a result, I got a high score of 13482.
Secret glitch, level 5 (w/ belt man (8) and twin snake (2)) fight with yourself and the axe. The game will think it is a crowbar (before you get it in level 8) and finish with a score of 56,088. As follows: 18 x 82 is 1476. Then do the glitch ((1476 x 19) x 2).
using the Snakeborn (7.1) and starting using Binoculars, then using the Treasure (X) to fight both a Huge Snake (7) and a Twin Snake (2) using the Shuriken (+) 5 times (do +5) will raise your points. You can also try find the Treasure again (X) by using your Character (7.1) for 546 points. You will need to unlock Single Digit Decimals, however. This also is a good XP Farming method until you unlock Belt Man (8). (7.1x72+5x7.1) (Upgraded Snakeborn can be unlocked with Double Digit Decimals, with 77.1.)
"one criticism I have is there are no female characters but there are no male characters either so that's okay." Richard Waterson stands for gender equality? Didn't know he was chill like that
I discovered a new strategy. The first character you want to pick is 7, as it has the most strength. Give it the balloon (0). Then, pick another character (1), as they are the luckiest. Because of this, give 1 the binoculars (8), and there’s about a 15% chance that when looking for treasure (x), you will run into a dragon (440). This is the most difficult enemy, but since both of your characters get to pick a weapon, you will first use a bomb (10), and then use the Molotov cocktail (4), and then, you get a score of 3,088,649,872.
UPDATE: I just discovered that double-digit characters exist. As far as I know, their stats are the stats of the single-digit characters, combined. For example, 71 has the strength of 7, and the luck of 1. Speaking of 71, this is the first double digit character I recommend. Double digit characters are also able to carry two items at once, so give 71 the binoculars (8), and then the balloon (0). The next double digit character I recommend is 11, because it has twice as much luck as 1, and doesn’t take away much from your final score. Of course, you should also give this character a pair of binoculars and a balloon. Now, there’s a very rare chance (I don’t know the exact percentage) that when searching for treasure, you will find two dragons (440440), but since you have two double-digit characters, you can use 4 weapons at once. The weapons you should use (in order) are the Molotov cocktail (4), the bomb (10), then the axe (9), and finally, another Molotov cocktail (4). If you are lucky, you will defeat both dragons and get a final score of 3,162,414,122,517,691,000! Here’s the exact setup needed to replicate this below: 71801180 x 44044041094 = 3.162414122518e18 There have been rumors of triple-digit characters, but either the score that I achieved isn’t high enough to unlock them, or they just don’t exist.
My way -get the character (1) -give it a ballon and binoculars (0 & 8) -find the x -use a shovel (4) -dig the x -there will be a snake (5) -use the ninja spear thingys (x) -if you fail use bow and arrow (9) -if you still fail use axe (7) -you killed the snake -use ballon to find its grave spot (0) -use shovel (4) -use the axe on chest (7) -you will get the saxophone thingy (x√() -its worth 1000 cash (add 1000) to it) the final score is ... 14,914,832,620.197

I disagree. He's the type of character you could watch a lot, but he would probably become a little stale after enough episodes. It would have been interesting though.
I completely dominated the game. I started off with a single character. (1) I used the balloon (0) to fly to an island with a pair of binoculars. (8). Spotted the treasure, but the island was infested with giant snakes. (7) Even bigger than the normal snakes. (5 snakes to be exact.) For each snake I had to use the molotov (4) to set it on fire, used the axe (9), and then the balloon (0) to dispose of the body. My high score was 8.399969e+21

There's actually a better strat that gives you a higher score but it's a bit difficult to pull off. You need to pick the main character (1) and the binoculars (8) like usual. You have to be quick about this though since the snake will attack you before you fly high enough if you're not careful. And finally you hold the axe upside down (6) and drop it right on top of the snake. If you did all the steps correctly you'll get a score of 9108. I think that's the highest score achieved on level 1. You do lose your balloon if you do this strategy but I'd say it's worth it since your score increases by almost 10 times.

The balloon in general is kinda buggy. For instance, you can avoid a crash if you follow up using the arrow on the balloon by using a pebble. If you then use more balloons on the player character after the pebble you can get massive high scores.

But what if you take the gun?
If you take the guns instead you get lower score due to them needed a lower skill roof
The balloon in general is kinda buggy. For instance, you can avoid a crash if you follow up using the arrow on the balloon by using a pebble. If you then use more balloons on the player character after the pebble you can get massive high scores.
Fun fact: one russian guy actually did a calculator gameplay for 7 hours. His other videos are 4 hours tutorial about making a folder and 94 hours minecraft video part 1, there's also a part 2, which is over 100 hours, but the recording was broken.
He also made a 4 hour review on 4 number.
Fun Fact: There’s a calculator rogue-like available on steam.
Great review: I wonder if he’s gonna review the DLC. There’s a bunch of new features.
Just the thumbnail alone made me laugh 😆
this episode actually made me do this on my calculator
The script was so genius with this one.
if you wander into the forest and find some logs, your score starts to go crazy.
Calculator is so fun. I tried it a week ago and can’t stop feeling that burning sensation in my fingers wanting to play it more. Maybe because I burnt off my fingers but it’s still fun.
Caseoh looking slim during his stream today
i hope he puts out a full walkthrough with all the endings
If I remember correctly this game was also released on the Nintendo Switch, you should make a review of the Nintendo version too
even though this is a big joke richard watterson would actualy be a good youtuber
no ads, no sponsors, no begging for subscribers or likes, short explanation of the game, straight to the point, no yapping on how the game works straight to showing off its mechanics and gameplay, even showing glitches in the same video
i tried this game before 10/10 recommend it
The school computer after opening 2 tabs:
Pro tip: if you fight stronger enemies and use as much wearpons as you can, you get a completely GIANT score.
I’m so nostalgic for this godamn show.
Definitely better than Smash Ultimate, also Calculator for Smash Bros.
Nothing is better than smash.

It’s a joke, also calculator should have been in Smash Ultimate. Think of the awesome move set it would have.
@@misterniceguy429 That is so incredibly true, but, what's a joke?
@@annbutler4164💀
He’s just casually sitting in his kids room on their computer
Idk why everyone picks 1 as their character when 2 which actually has a better starter accesory than 1's binoculars, the whip (6) is better
This was always my favourite gag in the show
This is a great walkthrough thanks
Can’t believe he got early access for this 3 years before release.
I swear, someone out there is gonna create a game on stream or online based on this joke
jokes aside this is actually pretty genius
my high score is 4602
Mine is 2884. Could you teach me how you got a really high score?
@@thomasmoran8958 unfortunately i dont remember.
Gumball: umm, dad, calculator is not a game
0:53 💥
The explosion representative of his brain get overload by numbers. 🤣
Question, my version of the game doesn't have the arrow, how to I kill it now?
axe is the best way
@@richardwattersonplays679 thanks I thought I wouldn't be able to beat it
@@SnappyPlushProdIt’s replaced by a top.
@@Pajanimations It's not a top, it's a nunchuck.
I love how he's not using a software to record the screen but rather an actual camera, thus showing the inside of the monitor even after it blew up.
Very helpful hint.
We are doomed when Richard finds out how to play Doom in calculator .
Its a real game now.
BEST CONTENT CREATOR ❤
me after seen this: *is it impossible to learn this power*
I did it by using a balloon(10) and 10 large snakes(70) and a axe wielding fat guy(89) appear. I used lots of arrows, Molotov and axes to finish it.
This is some genius writing btw
