I did want to ask if you have preferences for shooting in natural light in terms of window direction (west/ north/ south facing windows). Do you notice a chance in light quality/ temperature and which is more warm/ soft?

If you're shooting with the model's face towards the light, is there any fine tuning of position, or directions you give to ensure they don't need to squint for the photo? And off topic but is there such a thing as too sharp for a macro lens? I saw a comparison of a Sony and Canon macro lens, and while I agreed with the video that the skin texture looked better from the Canon straight out of camera, I thought it was because the Sony had sharper skin texture. In beauty photography specifically, I'm guessing it's better to have too much skin texture than not enough, so maybe the sharper the better. But this assumes it's easy enough to dull it down a bit in post. Thoughts?
My favorite natural light is a cloudy day. Unfortunately this doesn't present a beautiful blue shy in the background and I'm all about the colors.
@KayleighJune @3:10 - 3:12 are great photo's but would you still consider them natural light portrait photo's because there is some shade on the side of the face?
The source is natural - the sun.
Definitely would still consider these to be natural light portraits, mainly because there's no artificial lighting used. 🙂

Usually between 9am and 12pm, and then around 2pm onwards depending on the time of year. 😊
