Thanks. I had a leaky sink in the kitchen and this makes me feel way more confident about addressing the mold issue.
That was thorough! Well done!
Thank you for sharing this with us. Mold is very scary to me.

I can hear the drip in the background. Will you replace the copper with pex or re-solder it? Eric
Hi! Eric! In this case I will replace it with the same material which is copper. I’m making a video on how to fix this so please stay tuned! 👍🏽😊🙏🏽
Mold is no joke. I have seen people constantly being sick from mold in their house before.

Where's the air quality monitor after disturbing all the mold affected areas?
😎🤙
You didn’t share with people watching a huge step..Mold spores could’ve landed on anything in that garage..Everything in the garage hepa vacuum and wiped down with shockwave
a messy job indeed
Overkill $$$
Not necessarily overkill, as the drywall and drywall mud may contain asbestos. Don't know whether he had it tested, but his remediation procedure kept him safe from that as well. Surprisingly, age of drywall doesn't matter either.
Yeah, the suit, mask, and sprayer w/mold killer probably cost around $200. If you have it proffesionaly done quotes start at around $3k. So do what he did, then buy yourself a 4k television a coke and a smile.
I thought you needed bleach to kill mold.
Hi! bleach is highly effective at killing mold spores. (the active ingredient in most mold sprays), it cannot penetrate porous surfaces. Bleach also produces toxic fumes that can be as harmful to inhale as the mold itself.
Hydrogen peroxide will kill mold effectively without fumes and on porous surfaces
