This year marks the '28th Anniversary' of the creation and installation of the Buddha Statue at Buddha Jayanti Park, New Delhi, a gift from His Holiness the Dalai Lama
to the people and Government of India. Each year on the historic event of
Gandhi Jayanti, a Ceremony of Remembrance is observed to reflect upon
the message of the Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi and His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
