Its one of those things that kinda worked itself out this direction - I believe the next major domino to fall in THIS category of musical-electronics will essentially combine a "Headrush Prime" (next-gen guitar FX / modeling, that also has limited vocal support) and "Sheeran Looper" (sync'd and quantized mulit-track performance looping, that also has limited instrumental support) into a single piece of hardware for under $500, with (up to) 30-bit/192khz sampling and on-board recording - a product with those specs from a company like Valeton or Mooer would probably be the end of the line for the leading big-money brands like Kemper, Headrush, Neural, etc. JM2C...
Thank you. I needed your review and opinions. BTW, you have a new subscriber. I've purchased the Valeton GP-200 (pronounced like mail, Valeton) from company videos I've seen. I have an important question that I hope you will answer: in a live gig, how do you connect the Valeton GP-200 to amplify the sound if there is not a PA system at the venue? I can't find an answer to this from someone who actually uses it like you. Thank you.
Hey thanks so much for the kind words, I'm glad the video was helpful :-) Perhaps I don't fully understand your question... You can come out of the 1/4" L (left) jack directly into an amplifier - and the "cleaner" the amp, the better. When playing thru an amp, you may find everything sounds better with the CAB (cabinets) turned OFF. Let me know how it goes when your unit comes in...
@TheImageDoctor Thank you so much for taking the time to read my question. A more specific question is this: can I hook up the valeton directly to the Spark Cab, an FRFR speaker with 140 watts of power that is talked about positively on the Kemper forums and has multiple input and output settings on sale for $254. Thank you!
@@TechValleyJeff By "FRFR" you're basically talking about a "pedal platform" amplifier, and the only amp I have any direct experience with is the stripped down 2x12 100-watt Champion100, though I'm sure the Spark Cab is a solid option as well.
Interesting point of view

@@TheImageDoctor Thank you again for answering my more specific question. I will be buying the Spark Cab for my Valeton GP-200 this week.
@@TechValleyJeff Cool - did you get your new cab ??? How's your new steup sounding ???
I'm also using a G1x4 unit. Should I switch to headrush MX5 or Zoom G6?
Your call on that - I know nothing about either MX5 or G6, but I'm VERY happy w/ my upgrade to the Valeton GP200
@TheImageDoctor thanks man. Actually, after watching this video. I'm kind of considering Valeton gp200. Because it was less expensive than mx5 and G6.
@@ARCHG4BR1EL coolio - let me know which way you end up going 👍
