There's a really great bbc live lounge performance they did a long while back. Think it was with a gospel choir from BGT involved too. Whitney Houstons dance with somebody. Worth a look. Always makes me smile when I feel like crap 💜
They have a musical director but he even said that they come with ideas that are strong. Also they practice their harmonies all the time and record harmony ideas on voice notes.
It's so interesting to see the Paper Penthouse versions now, because they've improved on Touch since, and Shout Out is SO different, way more harmonies in the later versions. I recommend their Honda Stage performance (it's quite long, maybe pick some songs from it) because it's a different vibe altogether
