I worked in retail for 10 years,how this is relevant is that I studied psychology in my spare time to understand why people behave a certain way and working with the general public is like a social experiment. These little tips are very accurate, more than once I've been put into situations I needed to tactfully dissolve or remove myself from and they worked.
