random comment but damn. miss danny in pro play so much. i started watching in 2021 and he was my favorite player by far, and when he got that trist penta i lost my mind. glad he's still getting some love
it's so weird to me to see people hype up Danny after one regular LCS season and then he backs out of playoffs and worlds because it's not for him, but people still hype him up to this day lol.
There's been a tonne of crazy ADCs in NA, and I would not count Danny in the top 10. Bro was carried but everyone overhyped him, and he knew it too, that's why he cracked before the real games.
I also started watching in 2021 and I miss that EG team. They were so fun to watch, especially with jiizuke either running the server or fully just running it down every game lmao
@@DoNotFearTheReapawhat a shit take lmao, he carried his team in his rookie splits in playoffs series. he was an extremely promising rookie abused by the org, to the extent that coaches and players were defending him from the staff in question. they were under riot investigation for this matter and literally ran away from the LCS lol. he would be a top 3 adc at least in this season if he wasnt horrendously mishandled.
@@DoNotFearTheReapa What oldwell said. It became "not for him", but in actuality the Org 100% abused him, and was why he felt that way, more so than actually cracking.
Danny would have been one of the best ADCs we've seen in LCs at a minimum, if not better than other regions, just based off the limited play time we saw from him.
@@DoNotFearTheReapa Danny was in a scam org that abused their players and was only in the LCS to find a buyer. They werent investing in the players, they just want to sell their spot and run away with the money.

1:03:00 think the things moving is probably to do with how elevation works in league, like when skillshots miss when people are in the river and you're higher up because technically they're lower or vice versa, when something is knocked up the elevation changes their actual position too in a similar way. It has always been a bit funky so wouldn't be surprised if it felt random. Riot has some serious spaghetti code
48:04 There's at least two other abilities that stack when you don't hit anything, one I'd argue is perfectly fine because the mana cost goes up with the damage (Kassadin R) and the other is definitely stronger than Zeri right click. Pantheon passive stacks per ability cast and auto, even if the abilities don't hit anything.

think it probably has to do with the fact he was in terrain when taliyah E should "stop" him so the Q worked until the game finished making the taliyah wall and displaced him out of it. Probably works like that to stop people from getting stuck in walls if they dash over it with a taliyah E inside. Pretty funny it interacts with her ult like that. Probably akali E would do the same thing as Lee q here.
I mean the wall has a knockback when it spawns, that is what happens when she dashes through a team. The moment Lee's Q made contact with that it kncoks him out of it

@@josephmuir4189 The issue is when Blaber is doing good, he looks EXTREMELY good. But on the flip side, if he isn't doing good, he looks like he's straight inting. So yeah that brings him down to "average", but it's not quite that simple.
and to be fair, they also gave Fudge Olaf instead of Blaber, even though it's like his best champ lmao.

I don't get sneaky and meteos hating on lifetime stats being shown. It's info for casual fans. It absolutely is part of a quality broadcast.
i dont think theyre hating on the concept as a whole but rather on the random stats they keep showing. nobody genuinely cares about blaber passing some other jungler in kill to claim 17th most kills in the lcs like what kind of stat is that?
I think what they’re saying is that there could be better stats put up. Most of the stats presented are not ones that people care about (29th most assists in LCS history omg), plus when they are put up they cover the scoreboard, obscuring information.
It’s a combination of useless, un-impactful stats and the covering of immediately useful information of the game which causes frustration, especially when you’re trying to give commentary on the game.
I would like the stats more if they were relevant to the current game maybe show the players champ/match up winrate, kda, or pickrate. the overall kills/assists thing feels like some real sport stat copy bs thing.
@@loneXolf The thing the LCS hasn't figured out is that Seasonal Stats are far more relevant. Things like Win/Loss rate of teams with 6 grubs or team loss rate when not getting drags would be interesting.
I think part of it is contrarianism and part of it is just them not getting it. I 100% think they’re tongue-in-cheek pseudo-jokes when it’s something random like the blaber thing but moreover they’re just fun facts.
