Very well done video! Congrats on your TMB. We were at Bonatti the same night and my family and I appear on your video at 52.11. We made it in 9 days. What an incredible journey!!
Hello Sheng what an amazing and awe inspiring experience! I commend you for taking the time to lead the group and now put this great video of the experience together. I am planning for my family’s TMB tour next summer now. We are a family of four. Myself, wife and two 15 year old boys. I was wondering if you booked each accommodation yourself directly with each refuge/hotel or if you used a self guided tour company. Again congratulations. Thanks
Hey man! Sweet video. I ran into your group that first day! I was the lone Canadian that passed you guys before Col Tricot while you guys were resting up--I mentioned that I was attempting to do it camping solo in 7 days - had to make it 8! I don't know if you'd recall, but I was exhausted at that point. Unbelievable that I've just randomly ran into your video. Lovely work!
Hi, this is Ervin the old man in the group I do recall speaking with you while we were sitting under the pine trees in the meadow. I trust all went well for you as well.
Great ! I love this video so much ! I am just wonder how can I connect you ? TMB is on my tour list next year , so I do need a guider like you . Thank you !
Hi Grace! You can find me on IG @shengsilver. Thank you so much for your kind words. I actually only used a iPhone 13 Pro on Cinematic mode with a selfie stick stand. The entire film was shot on an iPhone!
Sheng, you are actually an Ibex! That was beautifully filmed and edited, it was lovely seeing familier faces (you even got Ben playing!) and your family is wonderful 💕 Happy trails!
Hi Sheng, You have accomplished what only a few have been able to do. You are an athlete! Thank you for the FANTASTIC videography of your journey on Mont Blanc. Absolutely AMAZING views and great weather for the most part. I love that you've included the beautiful wildflowers, mushrooms, berries, and animals along the way. Not to forget the lodgings and food, yum! You did a great job documenting...LOVE it!!! Too bad my sweet Olivia couldn't have joined you. Thank you for sharing...Auntie Josie.
Arrived home just over a week ago after walking the TMB. What a stunning place! I had to walk it in 7 days due to work commitments but would definitely recommend doing it in 10 days just so you can spend more time seeing everything. It’s a hard walk!
Love how well you know yourself and the self-assurance not to need to impress anyone. Hope the change of plans did not affect anyone negatively. I feel I care too much still how will others feel about my decisions. Enjoyed your content as always! 👍🏻
Thank you for your kind words. I am lucky to have supportive and understanding people in my life who want the best for me - honestly the art of life is to find and surround ourselves with people like that. This trip showed me again how important that is. Thank you also for watching. I really appreciate you :)
Fell in love in just 1 minute in!!! Commenting now first! Can't wait to watch the whole thing!!!! Congrats Sheng! Edit: Watched the entire thing!!! The views and experience is just out of this world! What a blast! Glad that you chose the right thing for yourself near to the end Sheng!!!! Thanks for sharing this epic journey with us!
Thank you so much - it means a lot to me that you enjoyed it. I spent countless hours going through the thousands of footage to stitch together a story over the 10 days I was on the trail. But thanks to that I was able to relive the memories many times over :) Thank you also for your support as always. Sometimes you just know it in your heart to do something. We just have to listen to it.
Pretty light actually! I'll see if I can do a gear breakdown in future trips, but this one didn't need a tent, sleeping bag, or much food as the main difference.
i'm planning to take the 5day hike next year, you're good looking btw lol

Great video, thank you for taking us along! I’m in the planning stages for next year. How far in advance did you book your accommodations? TIA!
Thank you for watching!! We booked most of the accommodations 2-3 months beforehand.
Great documentary which brought back some good memories! Could you share the brand of the brown hat that you used please (it looks like a good one!)?
Thank you! Tis this model: tilley.com/products/th5-hemp-hat?variant=39660858310824&

@@ShengHuang nonetheless, the weather conditions were varied and it was interesting to see how you adapted to the changes.
