Your attention to detail is masterful! I appears that you had to re-create or manufacture some of the parts but unfortunately you don't show this. You also don't show the painstaking paint job you did on the center control column. This detailed work would be interesting to see how you were able to take a disaster and turn it into a magnificent, highly professional model. Very well done.

You have reached a level of a master. You just did a repainting but, what a repainting! That beige interior looks so, so so awesome, you did respect the black dashboard and center console, that, that gives even more "life" to that interior. About the body, what can I say? Amazing, truly amazing, that purple is fantastic and you have detailed the chassis, using matt black and "burning" of the exhaust pipes. By the way, that black you used on the dashboard, is it Nato black by Tamiya? Just like those blue Porsches 993 and 996, You have done a master piece with this SL Now it's not a Maisto, not an Autoart, it's a Good Restore.

On a point scale, 1-100, the multicolored exhaust system would not add points. No repair shop tech would put his reputation in such jeopardy. The weathered metallic look would definitely score higher. As a curio jewel, great piece! As a sandlot toy? Never!!!! Love the exterior color!
