I get straight A’s, I work full time, I’m coming up on my last year of college. Listening to Tee’s story just really opens my eyes to how much different your entire WORLD view can be based off of where you come from and what your environment is like. Big shout out to the homie man. Mad respect for this guy after hearing his story.

@_Juicexx this is an oversimplification. I was fortunate enough to have parents who were able to pay for me to go to a University which allowed me to be able to pursue the career I wanted. In Tee’s situation his father died & his mother was in Prison so he was on his own. He got accepted to Michigan State but didn’t have the $ to go. That doesn’t justify him committing crimes to pay for it but it’s reasonable considering he was a teenager with no parental guidance in the middle of one of the poorest city’s in the country.
Opportunity is everything.

I thought this was gonna be mediocre cuz it's on the short side, but this was a really good ibterview bc of how open T was about his past, and the thought process/ cicumstances that led him to make the mistakes he made. A lot of people have next to nothing, and then commit crimes to obtain things. Many of those people stay in the system for their entire life, and it's really a product of poverty.
