A man that loves his country more than these dudes ever did or would. Shows leadership and real creative insight.

I left the Bahamas and returned to my home in America. I reached in my safe and found some Bahamian money I brought back. I decided to search for information about this man whose face was on the money...this was a great lesson to who he was. I would love to study how he gained so much respect and power.

that's a real sad statement. he was lost as a prime minister. his plans to be the premiere failed after he had to stick to his promise of independence that he made to win the 68 election. after independence he had no idea what to do and sold the country to Carlos Lehder. he could have put that money into education and development, instead it went in his pocket and up his nose. Pindling was just a smooth talker.

Elizabeth Robinson that's really your response, like wow. your lack of intelligence is showing. you really don't have any points to argue in favor of The guy. I guess he really was a failure and you've just been brainwashed your whole life. go learn your country's history.

Black Moses. I see why so many Bahamians supported him for so long and remain committed to his legacy.

With all that said, and in truth, what is going on now, those who and leading the Bahamas are doing just the opposite to what Lynden Pindling did

In the early years Sir Lynden did wonders for this country. He is responsible for a lot of the progress we have made as a nation. His vision set the pace for what is now the modern day Bahamas. However, in his latter years it seems his power took hold of him, he became spiteful and used what ever means to destroy anyone who opposed his views. He became masterful in controlling what information the people received and made sure that the poor depended on his government for assistance, his government ministers were notorious for their involvement in corruption and aiding in the drug trade throughout the country. It was because of the self serving ministers around him who had caused the Bahamian people to loose favor with him.

In my opinion i feel that The Rt Honorable Sir Lynden Pindling is by far the best Prime Minister of the 3 Prime Ministers we have had in the last 41 years. Look at what we as a people were able to accomplish under his watch? The good that Pindling did far exceeds the bad for the majority of Bahamians. People like Carlton J criticizing some of his failures in his constituency, i'd say he did as a hole for the entire Bahamas. Bahamians need to get the facts and search for information & they would be able to better understand which government was for the people. NO I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE CHRISTIE ADMINISTRATION.

May god bless his soul he was a genuine patriot for the bahamian people he really love the bahamas and the way they ridicule his name and drag him through the mud especially his own parlimentry coligues who betrayed him because they was hungry for power but the bahamian masses know the truth, he was a moses and a martin luter king of his time he will all be know as a father of the nation may his soul rest in peace and may god bless his family.🙏🙏

like many patriots, he started with honorable intentions,,,but once realizing how he could use his power to better his lot, he helped himself to the gracious offers of Lehder,,, " U cant leave a hungry man to watch a pot of peas & rice ",lol,,, ( $53 million !! )
