Most of those divas selected from the non-wrestling/or non-physical professions category don’t do well in the ring. There are only a few ex models turned wrestlers who did well like Yumi Ohka (Japanese Joshi), McCool, Candice Michelle, Alicia Fox.
But they have potential.

@MDM exactly. The aerial stuff only works if it makes sense in a wrestling match - finishers or very rare situations. Wrestling is backwards right now. You have the one taking the hit doing all the work and it makes no sense. I don't know what they are teaching anymore. The way wrestling is done now makes it look faker than ever. It's about looking at a Bret Hart match and seeing what he did that no one else is doing today. Something happened 10-15 years ago where wrestlers were taught to dance with one another in the ring instead of understanding they are supposed to be doing a choreographed wrestling fight. All the giggling I see is a joke. People purposely putting themselves in the worst possible position to catch an aerial move is a joke. It looks so bad. People whine that Randy Orton matches are too slow. At least his matches make sense for the most part. Most of the roster in WWE and these indy's can't wrestle for shit. And don't get me started on how bad promos have gotten in recent years. This can't be the best of the best...
@MDM yeah they are athletic and can do flips, but yeah they have no character no charisma. Part of it is Vince. But the other promotions have the same issue. And not sure why they aren't jacked. They don't need to look like bodybuilders, but most look sloppy and fat. They get meals and gym time 24/7. Not sure what their issue is. And yeah so many have jobber physiques. UFC is shitting all over WWE and it's hilarious that Vince can't see that. Hopefully things change, but have my doubts. It all goes back to how wrestlers first started training. There is a huge gap to what Dustin Rhodes is able to do or Randy Orton, etc. vs. all these ballerinas and somersault pros that pretend to be wrestlers.
