The individual perception of art remains for longer in one's mind than plain functionality of a construct. First one is about feelings or imagination that have a long lasting imprint on our psyche, latter one about usage; whose advantages are improved more frequently and distort our mind. That is why I like i.e. ancient architecture in comparison to new buildings. Am impressed the same by Myanmar,Cambodscha as by Japan,Thailand by this regards.
