- This week we are RVing at Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale Florida. We have been asked by a few people over the past year or so if we have actually stayed at any of the camp Margaritavilles. So since our friends, Jamie and Sharon were planning a trip there for an alliance RV rally we decided to join them and try out this Campground and Resort. For those of you who have followed our channel know that we love state parks and the true camping field, but we have to say that this resort was really a top-notch resort. Yes, a little pricey, but for what you get it was a really nice. We did enjoy all the amenities. It had to offer with having on-site bars and restaurants, obviously swimming pools which we didn’t really use this time, but it has everything you need to the point where you really would never have to leave the campground.
All in all, we did enjoy this park and would recommend it if you like resort style camping it definitely has a tropical vibe to it.

We love Camp Margaritaville period. Next time you go, take a quick trip to Crave and Copper for an early dinner/late lunch. It’s about 3.5 miles away from the front entrance and they have amazing food and beer. Crave and copper is the restaurant for the Florida Brewing Company.

We really have three ways we camp. State Parks with hiking and kayaking. Travel trips where we go on trips to explore, and resort RVs to enjoy the resorts. Thanks for the preview. PS. I like the way you make adjustments for Nikki as she is getting older.
Yeah we kind of do the same thing too. Enjoy the park for what it is when it’s a resort you enjoy the resort when it’s a state park you enjoy what that has to offer. Yes we are trying to keep as active as we can and have her do as much as she can. She just loves adventuring. 😁
We thought we were pretty much state park campers too but recently hit a resort and found we like upscaling it too. Love areas that ebiking access is abundant.

We have stayed there and it was fun as usual, will never pay that kinda money and not make the best of it. Dodging kids on the little electric scooters and watching one little girl face plant on the pavement was not. We may go back at some point but not really in near future plans. Glad you guys like it and had fun. Good vid.

Did you find the dog wash station? And too bad it was colder. Watching the kids wake board in the lake from the License to Chill bar was fun.
No never seen the dog wash! Where was that at?
Seeing wake boarders would have been cool. Shame they weren’t running.
@@AlliChuckAdventures hidden behind the bathroom building for the main pool. There’s also a small dog park. We had a Dachshund meetup in there one of the times we were there.

The site we had came to with taxes etc about 280 for couple nights. That’s a cheaper site lol

Was tad bit pricey for sure! But was really fun place for a get away! Was nice having everything on the campground property. 😁
Have they cleaned up the dog park? It had piles of 💩 everywhere when we were there a year ago. Too much $$ when we have better state and county parks to go to.
We never really noticed the dog parks being dirty, but it is a pricey campground for sure. Something we would only do every once in a great while as a treat.
Was that site the same price as all the others? Did you spill over and trespass on your neighbors?
Nope premium sites out of price range lol. But we did spill into the neighbors site everytime we walked out of the Rv lmao

There used to be a high school there? Or just nearby?
@@AlliChuckAdventures The school is in the small town of Auburndale just 4 miles east of the campground. Its called Auburndale High School. Pretty nice people live there.
Too expensive for me.
