the engineering behind rides like this just blows my mind, like those frikin joints that connect the arms to the platform people sit on. That is some badass engineering
Oh the good old times, this year, Six Flags Mexico decided to remove this attraction :( It was a favorite of all the public in Mexico. we are missing you a lot Huracan!
After a lot of years, this attraction was finally closed and dismantled. It was so hard to maintain and the pieces for fix it was finally out of stock. Rest In Peace Huracán
@@miguelvc_2103 This ride opened in 1993, Around the same time as Dreamworld in Australia opened the WipeOut. Fairly sure this is now the last one in operation.
Alton Towers used to have one of these, or a very similar ride. It was called the Energizer, they later moved it to ug land, named it the bone shaker and lowered the ride settings. when it inevitably lost popularity they retired it... Alton Towers definitely needs some decent flat rides though as it is sorely lacking.
Uno de mis juego favoritos. Me gusta mucho ese sonido.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. :D
wow I have seen other Aussie's comment on this, our's goes about 3 times faster until the initial wind up spins get it flipping like an open air zipper then it slows down a bit and does the twists, stops and then go backwards. It's very painful and not much fun at all. Ours is noisy too but not that bad, actually is it even still at Dreamworld? It's been a few years for me.
There are only like this and one in dreamworld. It's sad. Huss Topspins i think are still better if run correctly. Operating topspin-family rides is an art.
Is there any chance this came from Walibi Flevo back in 1999? There once was a Vekoma Waikiki Wave there until six flags came and replaced it with a regular (huss) Top Spin.
The one at Dreamworld, Australia is way better! It has been newly refurbished and has many features such as water, water canons and LED lights, these features where re- added after a couple of years without the water and a swimming shark. Search up the video.
Sub terra is just boring imo, I guess its okay if you're the kind of person that can get in the mood and play along but seeing a weedy 15yr old employee dressed in military gear doesn't really help things for me. I'm not sure why they would have to build any of those rides I mentioned in a hole with the exception of the xxl afterburner though? the rest are flat rides and wouldn't be any higher than what is already present at the park. They would all be much more exciting though.
the engineering behind rides like this just blows my mind, like those frikin joints that connect the arms to the platform people sit on. That is some badass engineering
creepy cool ride......looks like some disjointed war of the worlds thing.....lol
the noise it makes is weeeeiiirrrd......
very cool!
Yes.
Yes

This ride has been recently retired from the park
love this type of rides, they feel like a swing on steroids
Todavía me acuerdo cuando de niño me subí en este juego cuando el parque todavía era Reino Aventura xD.. que buenos recuerdos!
Hey that thing plays indrustrial Music :D.
the worst thing is that this ride can go alot faster, that use to happen when mexico isnt having vacation season
Actually, I remember that they used it to crank to high speed during closing hours. That was wild!
I can confirm that this statement is indeed false
After a lot of years, this attraction was finally closed and dismantled. It was so hard to maintain and the pieces for fix it was finally out of stock.
Rest In Peace Huracán
That was an amamizing experience. I really Love it. The view it's so beautiful and the feeling is so cool. lmL
We had this in kentucky kingdom before (it) was six flags. Called the The Quake, or Quake. Great ride
This ride definitely has attitude.
In my Duckie voice, "nope! not me! nope, nope, nope!!!!"
This was the very last Vekoma Waikiki Wave ever built... it opened in 2000, the same year as Batman, the ride opened at this same park.
Thats not true, before six flags, in 1980 a theme park called "reino aventura" opened this ride
@@miguelvc_2103 This ride opened in 1993, Around the same time as Dreamworld in Australia opened the WipeOut. Fairly sure this is now the last one in operation.
Hmm, someday, Magic Mountain will get a nice major flat ride like, oh never mind.
Nice change up with the flat ride POV.
This is completely insane--nice shoes, by the way.

OMG! I thought it was another one of those "King Chaos" things like at six flags Great america until it went diagnal!
It is a bit like The Talocan in Phantasialand in Germany isn't it, I loved that ride! :D
They have something like that at Chessington World of Adventures in England :) (too scared to go on it of course)
hahaha you have the exact same reaction as me, I just sit there giggling.
we have this in Australia at Dreamworld called the wipeout its great been going for years
That ride looks AMAZING !!!😜😂😛😻😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
You must come here to Costa Rica, its beautyful and here is a small Theme Park, but its fun!!!!
this ride is in Costa Rica? Is that what you are saying?
This one it's super fun.
Recommended.
At first I was like "wow... Not scary it all" now I'm like "scary!"
Holy bucket list
Uno de mis juego favoritos. Me gusta mucho ese sonido.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. :D
Yep, it is.
this one has been in mexico since 1993, before the park was named Six Flags
this thing has some serious power.....
Goes on huracan, Breaks neck... -Bad Luck Brian
that is completely identical to the wipeout at dreamworld, in australia!
this is...terrifying.
Now that that ride is closed, hearing the loud sound it made it's so nostalgic, I loved that ride, I wish I could ride it one more time.
Why?
this one just sounds and looks scary.. o0
I LOOOVVVEEE THIS RIDE !!
Oh goodness! I guess it makes it all that scarier to ride then lol!
What about the Wipeout in Dreamworld, that was the first ride of its kind in the world. It opened in 1993
I think the HUSS topspin is actually more expensive than the Vekoma Waikiki wave.
oh damn I wasn't expecting that lol AWESOME
Theme park review you have to ride the new medusa steel coaster , it's very fast and crazy
that looks fun!!
At first I was all... "Thats not bad.... not scary, fun..." Then it started to do its crazy ass inverted flipping stuff xD
there was a ride similar to this one that i went on and no ride ever got me so sick as this one did.
wait didn't the woodie in the background get converted into a hybrid with inversions?
It's the only one, in the whole world!!!

Alton Towers should replace their "Ripsaw" with one of these, does it have an extreme / No 5 setting.
Did I mı̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̸̨ake you wipe your screen?
Fuck you did
Dick
Yes que se e etc
Yep
Yep
no you made me scratch it
The Hurl-O-Tron!
just like the wipeout at dreamworld australia
There are only like this and one in dreamworld. It's sad. Huss Topspins i think are still better if run correctly. Operating topspin-family rides is an art.
That spin cycle... wtf man
Exactly the same as the Wipeout at Dreamworld Australia.
Hey guys you should do kilahuea review... its a really good game here on Six Flags Mexico
Okay nevermind it is not, I tought it was, but The Talocan doesnt go sideway, yano the arms just stay normal. ;3
I've been on this ride it's no that bad it's really fun
Yes :)
Is there any chance this came from Walibi Flevo back in 1999? There once was a Vekoma Waikiki Wave there until six flags came and replaced it with a regular (huss) Top Spin.
this is just like the crypt at kings dominion except the crypt has more flips
+ Theme Park Review will you guys be comming to australia again to get a pov at dreamworld for the new hotwheels rollercoaster?
good ride!!!!
Maybe instead of the Hurricane, they should call it the TAFFY MACHINE (just a thought not reallyXD)
whoa it twists
Wow cool ride I want to ride it
hey guys did you tried the Kilahuea when you were here?
Best comment ever!
They would have to build half of those in a hole though, which would be expensive. Anyway, what is so bad about Sub- Terra?
where is this ride now? Is it in a bone yard in Mexico? Could it be bought and refurbished?
this is like wipeout at dreamworld
This is like Demon at La Ronde in Montreal
Just a different circuit/mode.
but at the end it stops and locks into place and you suspended upside down for like 10 seconds then it does a double barrel roll
isnt this the rip saw from alton towers without the blade?
basically the same as ripsaw from alton towers but without the water?
You guys didn´t you just did the SLC but not the dark one...
Me encanta!!!!!!
I would like to try this ^^
Is this the one that was removed from Kentucky kingdom?
What year did vekoma stopped making waikiki wave?
hey guys did you do the kilahuea at six flags mexico??
The one at Dreamworld, Australia is way better! It has been newly refurbished and has many features such as water, water canons and LED lights, these features where re- added after a couple of years without the water and a swimming shark. Search up the video.
yeah this is exactly the same as dreamworlds wipeout
This ride sounds like its gearbox needs new bearings or an oil change
yes...Yes...YES,, SCREAM MY CHILDREN SCREAM!!! hahahahahahahahahaha!
You beat me to it kongregatefan67. And it is as noisy and crazy as I remember it.
Clever
Still nice shoes
Not enough rotations for me, need more then three
before six flags it was reino aventura
¿En dónde está? / Where is that?
That's how it's supposed to sound :D
Sub terra is just boring imo, I guess its okay if you're the kind of person that can get in the mood and play along but seeing a weedy 15yr old employee dressed in military gear doesn't really help things for me. basicly it is rip saw from alton towers with no water
That's the crypt at kd
Looks funny
I think the motor in that needs to be maintained..Listen to it e.e
Those are the sound effects. It´s suppossed to be the sound of the wind, that´s why it´s called Hurricane. It´s more audible IRL to be honest.
did robb go on this
Chidisimo
How can you not drop the camera?!?
tornado in australia tho
