Thank you for mentioning me, really means a lot.
Ruger are some great firearms. I cannot believe the price you paid.?!.? That is a hell of a deal.
If you hold a gun and immediately know it fits you well…you have to buy it. Because that is a firearm you will use!
Great tip on the knife.
Love the video.
Definitely welcome and returning the favor. Your absolutely right about the feel. I knew it the minute I held it in my hand that it was the perfect gun for me. Glad you enjoy these videos as much as we enjoy yours. Thanks again brother
Tim glad to see that you are sharing your knowledge with us. You are a good man.
Thanks Mike. Hopefully folks can gain some knowledge from us and we can gain some from our subscribers
I like the Ruger guns. My son has a .380 as his backup. I also have a Ruger DC95 9mm 17+1. I carry a Taurus tcp.380 as backup.
I prefer the Sig, but really didn't want to wait
I carry the Ruger EC9S for my edc. Excellent firearm.
Ruger definitely has some awesome weaps that I feel are all to often under-rated. Thanks for watching and commenting. Don't forget to subscribe for more
I have heard great things about the Security 9 . I have a Security 380 light rack. $319 taxes and background check. I also have been looking at the Ruger Security 9 Compact. Both take 10&15 rds.
Love my security 9. Both the security 380 and security 9 compact look like great wraps. For me it's all about the feel of the weap as well as the way it shoots. I don't have a lot. I just have what feels right and shoots true. Thank you for watching and commenting. Hope you were able to subscribe for more
Also have a Ruger Security-Six .357 magnum. Which is Stainless Steel and i love it.
Definitely a good choice of weapons
Tim I buy most of my guns at Barnes in C town. Very helpful and readonable prices. Lot of choices and will order accessories if not in stock.
We are looking for a new place to shop near us
@@TheKozyHomestead Barnes is on 61 toward VR out of C/ton
Good Job Sir. I have a Security 9 as well.
Thank you sir. Don't know about you, but this security 9 is one of the best weapons I've ever owned.

I support your open carry, and like the double retention on your holster, but my 2 reasons for not open carry myself is I would not want to be victem of theft in check out line and have my own weapon used against me, 2nd if a bad guy is getting ready to do bad things chances are he has already seen your weapon which makes you his 1st shot. Open carry at a gas pump makes sense to me current carry rotation is sig 365XL sptre comp 9mm and sig 226 mk25 navy Considering a 380 ruger security
First thank you very much for commenting, watching and subscribing. We really appreciate it.
I can definitely understand where you are coming from with regards to open carry. My point of view is this, if more folks open carried the bad guys wouldn't act out. Where I am, most folks do open carry. Not to concerned about folks reaching for my weap, mostly because when I am out in public I move it to appendix carry. This allows me to still have a very fast draw on my weap and does not allow for easy access for bad guys. Think of it this way, if everyone who carried concealed went to open carry, who would really be the target?
Thanks again for subscribing and stay blessed my friend
I also own a Ruger Security 9, paid $169.00 on Gunbroker. What is the name brand of the holster that you had on sir?
I love the Security 9. One of the best pistols I've ever owned.

Nice looking setup! One question though, do you get hassled much on carrying that rig
OWB?
I like carrying strong side open carry but just don’t want the hassle of dush bags criticizing me.
In all the years I've carried, there has only been one time that I encountered a douche bag about my weap. He swore he wasn't a liberal and that he didn't feel safe with me being near him. He threatened to knock my old ass out. I laughed at him, told him how ridiculous he was and walked away. Needless to say, he didn't follow me.
I always open carry. Don't really like going concealed. Even at church, everyone can see I'm carrying. All of the adults in my family carry pretty much every day and every where we go. This includes church.

@@TheKozyHomestead That’s awesome! I live in liberal Austin Tx, needless to say I appendix carry.
Great content man!
Thank you. We really appreciate it. I must tell you though, I will never appendix carry. Seen way too many mishaps. Lol
@@TheKozyHomesteadthat’s ok, been doing it for 15 yrs with either a 1911 or model 66-2 revolver.
I noticed that I carry fmj are I in a state where hollow points are prohibited?
I do have some hollows. Just saving them for the right occasion, which I pray never comes.
