I have never Art Journaled but saw this video available and always love Shari's tips... I have been in a crafty rut of late with zero mojo and after watching Shari I actually went to my craft room and made a card and in the immortal words of that old '80s song... Beautiful pages! I love how you colored the leaf sprig, that’s such a great way to get the color where you want it, & to get some great variation as well. And the bowl to make your “wreath” was genius. Everything about this page is just wonderful. And I love the beautiful fall colors.

Clearly, I don't have an original thought in my head. Die cutting the branch out of white and smooshing ink onto it. Brilliant. And gorgeous. I love ALL of your mixed medium things, especially when you convert it to cards. Sigh. So beautiful.

Your colors and the layers here are just phenomenal. I LOVE the swatches with the background. What benefits are there to using that such special paper with layered gesso and gel medium?
It really helps when you're using wet media to have a paper that will stand up to it.
This is so pretty! I’m not very familiar with art journaling. Is it simply a place to play with various mediums? Any actual journaling (writing) involved? If I had made this, I would want to display it! 😊❤️
It's both a place to play and a place to express yourself with no specific function or purpose. You could totally display it!
