Apparently, there was some advertisement from a Middle Eastern newspaper depicting an Air Canada plane that may have been a 767 flying towards the CN tower.

One of the reasons why jets aren’t allowed to use this airport is because of noise, the lakeshore is full of high rise condos and residents don’t want to hear jets all day. Also - I live in Toronto, thanks for the vid!
I've landed at this airport many times as a passenger. I never look forward to it. The approach over water is freaky, at some point you stop seeing the island and you feel as if the plane is going to hit the water. A Dash-8 is already scary enough to land there, especially on a gusty winter day. I couldn't imagine anything larger being used except on the most perfect days.

Firstly, thanks for the video, Swiss001! Secondly, why do you usually feature Boeing planes in your videos? I suggest that you could interchange between Boeing/Embraer and Airbus/Bombardier for every video. For example you could do the DHC-6/8, ERJ/E-Jet (E2), 737, 757/767, 787, 777, & the 747 on one day; and then on the other day, you could do the DHC-6/8, CRJ/A220, A320, A330, A350 XWB, & the A380 (I’m NOT forcing you to accept my suggestion.) My hometown (Scarborough is where I’m at, don’t come find me) , my Mom and Dad work not to far from there. The tower is called the CN Tower, the lake is called Lake Ontario, and you’re kinda correct on the no jets allowed, but the biggest aircraft that could come out of there is the Q400 (as a result of 15 minutes of planespotting there, not recording).

As a Torontonian (citizen of Toronto,) I'm insulted. That is the CN Tower, that is Lake Ontario and Air Canada flies to that airport as well. Nice vid tho
List of Airlines out of BBTCA: Porter, Air Canada Express (Jazz), Trans Capital Air, Fly GTA, Westjet Encore (Maybe in the future) and also business and medivac jets can land at Toronto City. It's only large commercial jets that can't land there.
Billy Bishop only flies small planes and has heli tours (my uncle owns the toronto heli tours company!), so the small runway and proximity to the city isn't an issue.
U should land at an airport called City of Derry Airport in Northen Ireland, it has a 1,969m runway. Ryanair runs here to Southampton etc. I have landed here a few times and it is a very hard landing and a very quick one. This is just a suggestion, you can go do research if u want
