The fact that Courtney had already stabbed Christian on previous occasions proves that this wasn't a one-time, spur of the moment instance of self-defense like she's claiming. She was committing ongoing abuse, and she should have been in jail long before it got to this point. The idea that "since women are smaller and weaker, they're no threat to men" is not only incorrect and ignorant, but also deadly
I love Doc, I do. But he's simping for Courtney right now. He wants her to get temp insanity and walk in six months, not knowing she doesn't know or care about anyone but herself. Me personally. Onlyfans is destroying women. It's teaching women that they will have power for about five years of their lives. Then they have to live the rest of their lives knowing that there's nudes out there on the internet that they think onlyfans has protected, but it's everywhere. My brother is a superintendent and he fired two teachers for having onlyfans accounts, and I absolutely support my brother on that. It's very important in this case, that we do not let this woman get away with this cry, specifically because she is a woman on onlyfans. If she gets away with this, we are proving that every cute white girl, and if you've ever seen her without makeup, she's far from cute. She doesn't even look like the same person, however if she gets away with this. We're proving that all it takes is a smile and being a white girl, to get away with a crime.
It frustrates me cause…. Weren’t we calling out women using their power to call down the police on black men sometimes to deadly consequences like 5 years ago? Is that not a repeating theme in North American history?!?
That would traditionally be the case but being armed with a weapon changes as u don't need to be particularly strong to leave a mark with a knife or any sharp object
She stabbed him a few times before the last, fatal time. I don't think she planned the murder, she went too far in a fit of rage and stabbed him. I agree, it wasn't self defense. As far as women being weaker and smaller, so not a threat to a man goes, it depends on the people and situation. In this case, a knife was the great equalizer. I hope she spends the rest of her life in jail.
Being stabbed is extremely unpleasant and a great indicator that being around someone likely to do it again might be a bad idea. I honestly don't know why he stuck around. Chances are there was some kind of deeply ingrained stupidity, but there comes a point (pun intended) that even the dumbest people will make themselves scarce after the first stabbing.

Weird it’s only second degree murder, I can’t think of anyone who stabs someone in the chest who wasn’t planning to kill. She deserves life in prison, this is one of the worst cases of domestic violence by a woman that I’ve ever seen.
Second degree murder does mean intent to kill. It just doesn’t mean premeditated. Second degree is her going crazy in that moment and deciding to kill him. First degree is her planning to kill him ahead of time. I believe you’re thinking of manslaughter, which is when you unintentionally kill someone.

He has nowhere to move to (being apparently a successful crypto trader….) he mentioned in one of his notes to her that he believed she was “his luck to help him with his goals”. He is not to blame for her actions but he definitely played a willing participant in what ended up being his demise. He put her addition to her and material benefits over his safety. And I believe however toxic she was , she sensed it and resented him for it . Toxic, toxic relationship but sadly not at all uncommon
I've been throwing knifes since I was 12 about 30 years. It takes a lot of timing if your going to tumble the knife during flight, you consider distance, number of spins etc. If your going to thow the knife like a dart you still have to release the knife from your hand taking into account rotation. These no way you can just peg a knife at someone and get any accuracy, so na she didn't throw it.
The knife is a serrated Global, they're built with an off center handle, and a curved blade. They're close to impossible to throw effectively, the handle's weight will imbalance the knife when it hits. Given the difference in height, he was literally on his knees when she stabbed him.
@@buttersstotch6752 Yeah, you need the blade and handle to balance in the centre at least roughly, the more off balance the more useless the knife is to throw.

This guy Christian made a social media post a few years ago that he’s doesn’t date black women because they are “ghetto and loud”. I find the circumstances of his death Ironic.
Their lives were drama, drama, drama. Only fans and crypto currency careers‽ No doubt their relationship was tumultuous; their lives were completely chaotic. These two lived in their own La La Lands and were emotionally immature. Sometimes when an individual is somewhat clever and manipulative, they think think everyone else is stupid. These two thought they had the upper hand on one another and everyone else. Sadly, all these factors catalyzed disaster and destroyed multiple lives.
the 911 call was heartbreaking; this was a case of domestic abuse; men are abused by their female significant others and don't hit back often times. She was a psycho with a substance abuse problem..
It happens all the time, and it happens to good men who refuse to strike a woman under any circumstance. They don't feel they can reach out to the police for help either, because cops don't take female on male DV seriously.
shaddup .... no it's not .. It was straight up murder .. She stabbed her other bf and has a history of violence.. Tired if females lying to other females ... She murdered him ... If she was a different color we wouldn't be having this conversation 😉
It's so sad, he probably felt like he could help her, and that if he left, she'd self-destruct. Abusers just love screaming "Look what you made me do to you" at their victims. Like it's his fault for not getting far, far away from this delusional little spoiled brat addict. Society is SO eager to blame him that its struggling to literally flip the facts upside down starting with "both sides" ism. Why didn't he leave her? Because sometimes, people change for the better when someone is kind to them, even at their worst. Bro could have slapped her like a mosquito. What is love? Baby don't hurt me, no more.
I think the abusive man-killer will be popular in her new home if she can control her sense of entitlement and anger issues. She will have no problem with substance abuse in a Florida prison.
So far I’m waiting to see actual evidence that the DV went “both ways”. So far the only things against Christian are that he yelled back a few times, and one person thinks Christian charged at her once? Sometimes things aren’t what they appear… I’m sure there are witnesses who thought “oh yes I’ll testify for the poor abused woman who accidentally killed her violent boyfriend” who may be shocked knowing the full details… But who knows ? Maybe he really was the aggressor. I’m sure the truth will come out at trial

@@crownjewel832 Yeah the white girl was CRAZY 🤪 anybody could see that. The only good thing that has come from Christian,.. the young man dying, is that he will be Resurrected. Acts 24:15,; John 5: 28,29.

It's not about the wrong sandwich order, it's all about the way how she was angry on him, because he switched off his phone while he went to buy some food, so she could not track his location, she was jealous of him, had a suspicion, that he was cheating, Courtney was controlling Christian in all ways ever possible, i think maybe he also tried to check on her phone sometimes, but i am not so sure. Pretty ignorant comment to make considering there are crypto millionaires. A few years ago being a UA-camr was a euphemism for being unemployed as well.
The sense of entitlement and arrogance by her seems to be off the charts. If these are the instances of abuse that we are aware of, imagine the instances that were not reported and remain unknown to the public. Christian Obumseli had never been arrested for DV. Courtney has. I wouldn't say the violence went two ways It was indeed toxic and they did fight and argue a lot but from what I have seen it was always Courtney who was the aggressor towards violence.
The starting point for the Police is to arrest the male and this will happen as a matter of course unless the evidence is overwhelming that he did not advance on the woman. Then as a last resort they MAY, but not often, arrest the female.
I have more reasons to believe he was just as toxic after reading his resurfaced tweets where he bullied black women. I wouldn't be surprised he was the verbally abusive and her the one to respond with physical abuse

This time I felt your analysis was accurate and reasonable. I do not think there were many surprises in this relationship. It's my impression Courtney is no more than a spoiled brat, a grandiose narcissist; text book. A product of her upbringing and her physical appearance that allowed her to fully develop into the monster that she is. He loved living in her limelight because he could, it fed his ego to be seen with her, he viewed his magic and power for being able to real her back in. They both wanted to be the prize, which was pure delusion. He was was lazy and superficial. This is a story of two idiots who found each other and thought they were in love. Prison will be a the right place for her. I think it is where she needs to be, though I doubt it will rehabilitate her, it's simply best she's not free to roam around. I'm sure her fans are shocked. The good news is her life is now public. When she gets out, I hope she finds someone who is more her equal. Let's hope there's never a prison baby, she'd be a horrible mother. I would not wish that on any child, but more important, the world does not need another Courtney.

Can he not just be a domestic violence victim? From his texts to her, he seemed to be very in love with a low self esteem like many victims. His net worth was higher then hers was. It is very telling that if the roles were reversed that no one would ever call her lazy or reduce her to an idiot if she passed.
There's something AWFUL about how quickly and easily the money comes to these social media influencers. It's like too much money falls into their accounts without actual hard work or intelligence. This girl seemed to become a spoiled brat, in part because she didn't know how to handle a mature person's lifestyle with all that money. Most educated people work years and years to earn six figures and in all those years are the normal day to day struggles. I believe she felt entitled to getting her way whenever she wanted it because she had financial means. IMO, she's rotten.
What about the angle? If you have a knife grpped in your hand and the blade is pointing down then this would be consitant in the downward projection when striking in an over arm motion. Hes a lot taller than her?? So he would of had to be charging her at a weird angle.

Narcisists, male or female, drive their partners nuts and often use this against them to trapped them or excuse themselves from their abusive actions. In this case, this had dramatic consequences and a human lost his life in vain.
This should be a warning to people. If your partner (man or woman) puts a hand on you, even once, you leave! If you dont, in a way your saying its OK to hit me. You leave him or her straight away no matter how much you love them. Its over!
The police interview of her is interesting. If you're abused, imagine that being you dead, in the hospital, your abuser not caring much about what he or she just did to you. Mostly just caring about themselves. Drugs, addictions make things worse, but he liked the money most surely, and her attractiveness
Great analysis and case presentation! Dr Grande is great at presenting personality traits and actions which otherwise could be misinterpreted! Thank you!
I wonder why she would think her story that she threw the knife helped her case. Throwing the knife obviously hurts her case in every way. Most importantly, it takes away physical threat to her as her justification if he was 10 feet away and unarmed. That alone is enough to convict her. On top of that, unless she was an expert knife thrower, it makes her story unbelievable.
This woman was just getting comfortable stabbing her boyfriend 😮 I worked at a domestic violence shelter for women and kids for a couple years (and I heard many heartbreaking stories from the women) and this story is genuinely shocking to me.
Seriously, it's kind for Dr Grande to even call her an Instagram model. We all know she had an OF account and what kind of "modelling" she did.... So uh... That was her main income yes.
Abusive women everywhere: "he must have started it, he was provoking her, this was secretly mutual somehow." All the same rationalization that people just instinctively "know" is garbage when they hear it from abusive men. Poor little rich girl was more hot garbage than a dumpster fire. To her, the worst part of her clumsy narcissism isn't the murder, just that she has to sober up in custody. People knew Amber Heard was a terrible person, but they just HAD to try to make it johnny's fault somehow. The only reason people give courtney's version of their relationship ANY credit is that he's dead and can't refute her effort to pin it all on him. Given their size difference and the angle, he was literally on his knees when she stabbed him. She had ALL the advantages, and treated him like property. The video of her trying to manipulate the cops the apartment called because of her behavior is so obvious. She's CONSTANTLY calling attention to her chest and trying to tell them what to do. It probably usually worked for her.
There is no excuse to what she did. But, don't most killers make up lame excuses for why they did what they did? Usually ends up sounding like, "He/she made me do it." It's all lies, whether the victim is male or female.
I don't think he was on his knees when she stabbed him, only point I disagree with you on, but he should have had some sense of how dangerous she was and gotten well away from her.
@@annereidy7981 With this logic, women who die at the hands of their abusive man should have known that they were that dangerous and gotten away. @@jenerin905 yes, and some do get away! In this case though it seems that she was the bread winner and he was dependent, it's the dependence and lack of opportunity which is vital and the prospect of being pursued if you leave. Men have a tendency to be more confident out in the world. This isn't blaming him, just wishing that he had gotten away.
I like the way you just tell us the evidence clearly, I have been seeing lots of news about the parents being arrested and not a single news outlet would share any info or summary on the case so I was super confused.
Just throwing this out here because some people seem to have missed it. The deceased was a successful stock trader and had a net worth of $2-3million. Her net worth at the time of the killing was roughly $2 million. They were not financially interdependent in any way.
If he was so successful, why did his family need to open a gofundme to bury him? Dr grande said Christian took a cut of courtney’s only fans income. Would a successful stockbroker do something so ridiculous? The man was unemployed and financially dependent on Courtney.
If he was independently wealthy, I wonder why his family started a GoFundMe to pay for his funeral. I do believe she was providing for them both but he worked for her as her assistant. I also believe she murdered him. I think she is a narcissist and he was her codependent victim, that they were trauma bonded.
The violence may have gone both ways, but was his more defensive? The only video and audio we have proves she was categorically the aggressor physically AND psychologically. It's possible because she was the breadwinner she felt she had ownership over him and could treat her property however she deemed fit.
That's my take also. Her being so successful and him becoming her assistant put him in a subservient position. She didn't respect him because she was providing. In one video clip she complained to police that he didn't pay rent.
If the audio came from him, he could’ve behaved calm and gentle to come across as the nice guy. Sometimes people push buttons then start secretly recording once they’ve successfully riled the person up. Not saying that’s what happened in this case. She sounded unbelievably unhinged in one of the recordings I heard. Again, did he set her off first? Because I don’t understand how he could’ve put up with that crazy behavior.
It was mentioned physical abuse went both ways but abuse isn't just physical. He was refusing to pay rent, which implied that they had agreed to share the costs. And there are tweets of him that resurfaced where he constantly bullied black women and said derogatory statements about them, so it's possible he could have been the verbally abusive one in the relationship. And of course, possibility of cheating wouldn't be a surprise since he didn't work and needed to be maintained and the times they had fallen out , he most likely needed a place to stay. Who knows, that could have also been the reason of their multiple fights that got him to leave or thrown out in the first place. While she seems to have been the instigator of physical violence, and was wrong for stabbing him and justice should be served, I can't see him as a victim.

I watched his videos on amber heard, and he was just as critical of her as anyone else. Having said that, this woman is an absolute disgusting psychopath abuser. Have you ever listened to that recording that Christian made with her calling him a “dumb n word” over and over again? What guy would tolerate that? You’re gonna let somebody stand there and say that to you, and just because they’re hot you’re going to take it? That was crazy.
I am amazed at how many people in this society feel that they are entitled, the rules do not apply to them and it is ok to be mean to others. Is this a narcissistic belief? Thank you
In circus terminology it's called impalement arts. I knew a lovely man who toured the world doing this. He was very skilled and takes devastating skill to impale that deep at that distance...with her little wrists! Off to pris lady! Where knife throwing practice is free.
She was cheating on him during their relationship but yet she was always monitoring his activities. Smh…Men, we need to follow the advice that society always tells women. When you see the 🚩🚩 get out, run and run fast, it could save your life.
Yes!
No she stabbed him on purpose and it wasn’t the first time. He should’ve left after the first time. Stabbing someone is so extreme.

You'd look worse than that if you were in Court after being in prison, for MONTHS.
The FOOD ALONE in that place would turn you into a monster to look at.👾💩
Narcisists, male or female, drive their partners nuts and often use this against them to trapped them or excuse themselves from their abusive actions.
Its over!
I agree Thomas.
@@tamitatangoto5134 Thank you ❤️
The courtroom photo proves that makeup was her best friend.
Good evening Dr Grande, as always I learn from your videos. Have a great Sunday.
Thank you!
This was so obviously and rapidly escalating to a dangerous conclusion.
She actually succeeded in manipulating the police and had it not been for Christian's family and the public outcry, she would've never been charged.
Looking forward to seeing how the trial unfolds
This woman was just getting comfortable stabbing her boyfriend 😮 I worked at a domestic violence shelter for women and kids for a couple years (and I heard many heartbreaking stories from the women) and this story is genuinely shocking to me.
Seriously, it's kind for Dr Grande to even call her an Instagram model. We all know she had an OF account and what kind of "modelling" she did.... So uh... That was her main income yes.
You'd think that if your partner stabbed you that would be the end of the relationship after the first stab. Wow.
🔪🔪
This is blaming the victim and putting the blame firmly where it belongs, with the person who committed the murderer and abuse. This completely overlooks the manipulation and financial control (it was her apartment, he worked as her assistant so she controlled the money) she had over him.
She's budget Amber Heard
I like the way you just tell us the evidence clearly, I have been seeing lots of news about the parents being arrested and not a single news outlet would share any info or summary on the case so I was super confused.
Sad that poor guy. Seemed like a good person.
Your so right and this describes 90% of this generation who have grown up with social media!!!
90%??? I'm guessing you don't know many (or any) young people.
When there is a power imbalance, wherever it lies, the overly powerful person *will* abuse it.
First mistake was letting people call him Toby.
Africans on some other ish
@@ohdear2275maybe being foreigners, they didn't know how to access his money. Don't know
The violence may have gone both ways, but was his more defensive? The only video and audio we have proves she was categorically the aggressor physically AND psychologically. It's possible because she was the breadwinner she felt she had ownership over him and could treat her property however she deemed fit.
That's my take also. Her being so successful and him becoming her assistant put him in a subservient position. She didn't respect him because she was providing. In one video clip she complained to police that he didn't pay rent.
@@peekaboots01 her perspective kinda does make sense though. She emasculated him and he allowed it.
@@pri.sci.lla. I agree, you shouldn't tolerate emotional abuse. But that doesn't takeaway the fact it was abuse and she was the abuser
Another great analysis Dr. Grande. I have that same shirt. Great taste.
I love that Dr Grande likes this. He’s such a character. lmaooo
A crypto currency trader often a euphemism for being unemployed. Classic Dr. Grande.
🤣😂🤣🤣😂
I don't see when christian was ever abusive towards her besides being her victim
Real advice
The moment someone puts hands on you, leave! Leave! Leave immediately! It's never going to get better. They're not going to learn. They're not going to change. LEAVE!
Tyronne and Stacy gone WiLd! 🤪
He didn't stay because of love, he stayed because she's the most attractive mate he could secure. He knows the months and years of cows that await him if he walks away from crazy..
She was financially well off and he didn’t have to worry about finding a “real job” as opposed to a “Crypto Currency Manager”. She was his free meal ticket on top of the fact that (like you said), looks-wise, that was the best he was going to do with women. So it’s clear why he stayed in the relationship and rationalized her violent behavior towards him as “gestures of love.”
@@rickbrenner6079 IT is not uncommon for children to grow up in households where they are neglected abused and berated,.. Christian could very well have been from such an upbringing.
He wanted to love this young woman, despite her volatile arrogant tantrums, and way's about her.
She probably made his life seem exciting in comparison to his upbringing.
When she was being nice she was probably very nice. But that just never lasted 🥴
I believe that Christians future is still to come.
The bible promises a RESURRECTION of the Dead.
Isaiah 26: 19,; Acts 24:15
6:38. That's her without all the effects. She's okay but not worth dying for
He stayed because in a black man’s eyes, being with a ww, no matter if they’re unhinged, is reaching nirvana. His tweets say it all.
@@LisePlansandJournals yeah but we generally like to send them our fatties. Ain't right swerving outta his lane and snatching up a physically fit retarded ww.
Sad story. Whenever, “whenever” you begin physically fighting with your spouse or partner, the relationship is over. When you are physically fighting you have lost respect for one another and therefore have no relationship. Leave, and move on to someone you respect. Especially if weapons are involved
She cut his face, she stabbed him in the leg, she broke a previous boyfriend's jaw. It was inevitable this woman would kill someone. She needs to stay behind bars.
💯
Everyone's an Instagram model now
no wonder with all that makeup
Because anyone can post pictures of themselves online. These people aren’t models.
Not Me!😳
@@tamitatangoto5134 it’s never too late to start 😂…
Now that we know she called him the n word to his face and several times, this is how we know she stabbed him with malicious intent. And as a result, the man she claimed to love died a painful horrible death. In the US justice system, they call that murder. *Punishable by 25 years to life hard time.
Good analysis Dr Grande! I think you covered all factors with a well balanced view.
Dr. Grande your videos are getting me through a tough time, I alway look forward to your analysis thank you
You're either lying or you're disturbed if you're watching other people's experiences of murder to "get you through a tough time". Who goes through a day of emotional turmoil by watching a video and going "ummm yes the way she stabbed him is really calming". Seek help.

Tragic story. But I still caught the “ based on what whittle evidence …..” comment. Very Subtle Doc!
We don't claim her here in Austin...No.
Thank you Dr Grande much appreciated
I would like to Dr.G thoughts on the "model" that was recording the man in the gym and calling him "feral".
Good analysis. Healthy debate is a good intellectual exercise. We need to be careful making judgments and as we could be wrong. Yet, discussions lead to better assessments. Sad situation here.
Looks like money doesn't mean mental stability.
I've seen the police interview with the police. She seems to believe she is the victim. Both had a toxic relationship. Neither used their critical thinking skills. I do believe she didn't mean to kill Christian, but the fact she did she needs to be accountable for her actions. Thank you Dr Grande. Brilliant analysis, tragic outcome and informative topic.
I really like this channel.
Great analysis. Courtney was off the charts with her behaviors and emotions in her relationship with Christian. Coupled with her substance abuse, it was just a matter of time before she would cause bodily harm to another and to herself. Very sad!
Christian was never abusive Dr G. Not a single time did he perpetrated any kind of abusive action against her. Let's be honest and stop pulling and pooling them under one umbrella.
His bias towards women, not believing they can be the only abusers in a relationship was evident since Amber heard.
Not sure that training equipment will be made available, tho...
Wow she looks different without all the makeup
That's why that social media is fake life.
She was cheating on him during their relationship but yet she was always monitoring his activities. Smh…Men, we need to follow the advice that society always tells women. When you see the 🚩🚩 get out, run and run fast, it could save your life.
Spot on mate! I share your opinion!!
My policy has been: After the first stabbing, the relationship is over.
For this reason, I'm alive to tell about it.
