Honeywell's fingerprints are all over that trophy. He had a definite positive impact on this championship. Wish him the best. Thank you for playing your part
Not surprised by the Honeywell move, but I'll always remember him. He was given a dirty job, but he still took the ball and went as long as he could because that's what was needed of him. No whining, no complaints: just wore it. Now he gets to wear a ring.
Brent Honeywell's contributions can definitely be overstated and in fact, it just was by these so-called baseball analysts. Why are we idolizing an ineffective relief picture whose ERA for the postseason was about 8, lol? This is exactly why the Dodgers have dumped him. The Dodgers actually need pitchers that can do more than just eat up innings, they need pitchers who can actually get batters out. Wow, what a concept!
Nope, the Catman should be traded. Specially if they're looking to add Roki and another of the big 3 FA's or Crochet. On the Lux talk, either they'll give him another run at SS or they'll trade him.
I still take Teoscar over Bellinger, but if we get to desperate times later in the offseason, a reunion wouldn't be the end of the world. BUT, I agree that it needs to make sense financially for the Dodgers.
I'll say this again - The Dodgers will absolutely never sign Juan Soto to a 12 to 14-year deal at 45 million per year. Never going to happen. Time to move on. And in a little while, you will see that I am absolutely right in what I am saying.
Check this potential starting rotation for next year: 1. Either one of Snell, Burnes, or Fried. 2. Glasnow. 3. Yamamoto. 4. Ohtani. 5. Sasaki. 6. Buehler. 7. Kershaw. 8. Gonsolin. 9. May. 10. Landon Knack 11. Bobby Miller. Yes - you can definitely have too much starting pitching.
It’s sooo good, you have 2 listed as 6. 😂 But Ohtani shouldn’t be considered a starting 5 rotation pitcher. He’s used as the 6th in certain situations to give all the other pitchers an extra days rest. If the schedule allows, Ohtani skips that rotation. Dustin May has to move to the bullpen. Too many injuries. I believe Glasnow, Kershaw, Miller, and May all start the season on the IL. Ohtani won’t pitch either until May. You left off Justin Wrobleski and Nick Frasso but ideally they would see a decent number of starts. The initial starting 5 will be: 1. Fried, Burnes, or Snell 2. Yamamoto 3. Bueller 4. Gonsolin 5. Knack 6. Sasaki Sasaki will be both starting and middle reliever. If Knack struggling then send down and bring up Wrobleski or Frasso. Post season starters: 1. Glasnow 2. Fried, Snell, or Burnes 3. Yamamoto 4. Bueller 5. Sasaki/Gonsolin. Ohtani is used as a wildcard. Kershaw relief pitcher.
@@f430ferrari5Glasnow, Miller, and May will not be put on the 60 day IL to start the season because none of them are injured and should be ready to go. May might be put in the bullpen - that's what everyone is saying, but we'll see. No matter how you shuffle the chairs on the Titanic, if everyone or nearly everyone is healthy at the same time later in the year, you've got a problem that is unsolvable. Most of these pitchers are out of options and can't be sent down to the minors.
@ I didn’t say they would be put on any “60 day” IL. I simply said they should start the season there and there is no proof they will be ready to once they season starts. Playing them too early and long might result in them not being available in post season. There is only a 26 man roster so quite a few players have to end up on the IL.
Doing fine, just have this bug that is taking forever to go away! Feeling better each day -- hopefully back to full strength next week. Appreciate you checking in!
Exactly how is Dustin May going to get in over 100 innings with the Dodgers with the starting pitching depth they are going to have this year? Huh geniuses??? Idiots.
Dodgers used 10 starting pitchers this season. They will need at least 10 next season. If May is healthy, he will get 20-25 starts. That’s how he gets over 100 IP.
@@CommonScentsAintSoCommonNow I think most people like me going, he pitched no more then 50 innings in 5 years. In my opinion, the dodgers going to trade him with lux, trade bait.

Honeywell deserves lots of love from our fan base.
i want to thank honeywell for eating up innings in game 4, giving the bullpen rest for game 5. godspeed, sir.
Ditto, hope he makes it back. But at the minimum he gets a World Series ring and probably a full WS share.
It's insane that Honeywell was even on our postseason roster
Honeywell's fingerprints are all over that trophy. He had a definite positive impact on this championship. Wish him the best. Thank you for playing your part
May and Gosling are the two long inning guys we need with 6 man rotation.
Anthony Salantadar could be an option 🤔 for Outfielder Help.

Dodger fan since 75 repping the 315. Lots of hate for my Dodgers gear.
Appreciate you tubing in, Frank! I'm sure you must have had a lot of fun out in the 315 during that World Series! haha
Cant think of another player on our roster who has Turtleneck's attitude, willingness, etc.
I didn’t know Bobby Lee was a dodger fan
problem with gosling is he dont have innings under him. 130 innings 2 years ago and arm surgery, that's the issue
Honeywell preserved the bullpen..thank you brent..hope we can bring him back
I'd love to have him back on a minors deal BUT if he can go somewhere and get some money and an opportunity, I think I'd love that even more for him!

Because he threw 50 pitches in a single in the World Series. He threw more than he ever has in his career
On another note...Steve Cohen, PLEASE sign Soto already so all this nonesense stops already.

Bellinger with a 111 OPS+ last year. Not worth his contract but if the Cubs retain a big chunk and a 1 for 1 swap of Chris Taylor, I’m in.
I still take Teoscar over Bellinger, but if we get to desperate times later in the offseason, a reunion wouldn't be the end of the world. BUT, I agree that it needs to make sense financially for the Dodgers.

No belli or soto
i am gonna miss honeywell its a shame they had to non-tender him
Baseball is a tough business sometimes... Hoping Honey lands on his feet somewhere!
NNOOO, Belli back makes absolute no sense!!! c'mon guys
Pirates dfad Conner Joe. Could be a bargain outfieder....
I don't think the dodgers are shopping in the thrift store rn
I would be a bargain outfielder. Can't help the team... just like Connor can't.
Clint you ok buddy? Your throat seems to be bothering you every show now.
Doing fine, just have this bug that is taking forever to go away! Feeling better each day -- hopefully back to full strength next week.

Juan Soto ain’t a good outfielder I saw that in the World Series
As imperfect as Honeywell was he was my favorite player. The team let him down in the playoffs
How exactly did the team let Brent down in the playoffs? By winning the championship?
Exactly how is Dustin May going to get in over 100 innings with the Dodgers with the starting pitching depth they are going to have this year? Huh geniuses??? Idiots.
Lots off injuries. You can count on that
@lcglazer Well that's bullshit. You can never have too much starting pitching until the one year where you don't have too many injuries. What then?
100 games, one inning each, 100 innings.
